it has served me well Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Ive had this generator for about five years now and its still going strong. Its main use is to provide power at my cabin when the small solar system isn't up to the task that includes contests and extended operating as well as power tools, pump and the vacuum cleaner. in winter it is the backup during power outages at home for running a few lights, TV, fridge and gas furnace.

Id give it a five but it does produce a little hash on 80 and 160m. Mind you the generator shed is right under the antenna. but the hash was easily reduced by adding an emi filter to the inverters output. along with a good ground at the generator.

under light load up to about 500W it is very quiet. with the sound shield enclosure and efficient muffler it putters along at a fast idle. As the load increases the RPMs also increase and will respectively get louder, but at full load which runs it at full RPM it is still much quieter than most open framed generators.

The fuel economy is remarkable I ran it for about 18 hrs during the last SSB sweepstakes and was surprised that it barely used more than 6 liters (1.5 us gallons) of gas. The load was minimal running just the K3 and a laptop.

All in all I am happy with it as an all purpose and ham radio generator.
