getting better lately Time Owned: more than 12 months.
New layout and graphics are first rate. I LOVE print magazines, e-copies just don't ring my bell. As long as CQ prints, I'll be a subscriber. Quality of photos and diagrams seems to have improved lately, visually appealing and very clear. Sometimes their product reviews lack the tech depth of the ARRL ones, but they are still interesting and useful. Late arrival doesnt bother me at all. When it comes I am happy to get it and I get 12 issues every year. The covers (and this applies to QST as well) are unimaginative, usually some old guy (I'm 64) and his rig or antenna. Lets see some creativity in cover shots. Overall, thumbs up.

They're paying attention! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Just received the newest CQ Magazine. What a big improvement! Technical information is clearer. Improved layout makes the magazine much more fun to read. Keep doing those product reviews, raising your technical standards, and don't forget that it is easier to find the advertisers when they are at the back of the magazine.

KD0EVI Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I finally received my December issue today. I find it to be a very good magazine to read. I really like several of the columns and hope that they can get everything back on track.

Glad to see CQ Plus Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Just looked at the preview of the CQ Plus edition. Looks like a nice concept. Looking forward to the February 2014 edition. A sigh of relief to know that CQ is not going to disappear.

Still a great magazine Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've enjoyed the articles in CQ magazine for the past 45 years. I don't set my watch by the delivery date of this magazine as I have enough concerns to worry about, so being late is no problem for me. I recently switched to the digital edition as I have enough magazines floating around my house. The articles are very relevant and interesting to read. Through the years I've seen several great magazines come and go and hope CQ continues providing the amateur radio community with great articles.

CQ propagation report Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I too hadn't received my August issue. Being a relatively new subscriber, about 2 years now I enjoy the magazine. Especially the propagation article every month and about our current solar cycle and VHF conditions. This information and graphics are so educational on this subject I haven't found anywhere. I've learned so much about this subject I can't seem to get enough about it.I subscribe to QST also, but they don't have an in depth monthly report like CQ on this subject. To me this information alone is well worth the subscription. I enjoy HF, and most recently, last 3 years I'm doing VHF/UHF. So I can relate to this article. I like the magazine just as well as QST. Both different both good.

Great Variety of Articles Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Doesn't have 50 percent advertisement pages. A good mix of articles. Equal to QST, if not better.

I'm done with that magazine Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Very expensive subscription, terrible technical articles, laughable equipment reviews.

5/5 Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I used to buy CQ off the newstand but since I began buying EVERY month's copy it got too expensive so I subscribed. I like the mix of articles and the independent nature of the magazine (independent from an Amateur Radio organization), although I am a member of both ARRL and RAC. If you enjoy CQ contests and awards then you should support CQ by being a subscriber.
