Fragile Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I was not pleased. The wire leading from the plug to the headset is a little too flimsy for my taste. I sit in an office-style chair, that has a hinge so the backrest can travel back and forth a few inches... the wire got caught in that hinge and was nicked pretty badly. Later, the connection from one of the speakers became intermittent.

They ARE comfortable, and fairly soundproof. I just wish they had more substantial wiring.

On the positive side, the separate "af gain" controls on each ear are nice. If you are harder of hearing on one side than on the other, you can customize the volume for each ear.

Versatile headphones for low money. Time Owned: unknown months.
Let's see....Here's a pair of comfortable communications headphones with built in, individual tone and volume controls tailored for voice frequencies inculding a 1/4" adapter for less than $20 and they sound good. They don't have ultra high frequency response like most store-bought phones which helps reduce hiss from most rigs. The tone control helps this problem even more and the seperate volume controls are nice.
