	Description: The EAntenna 40MDY1S rigid dipole is a little shorter than the 40MDY1 for 40 meter band (7.0 ~ 7.3 MHz) for outstanding performance. It is just 10.43 meters long. The performance is almost identical to that of 40MDY1, with losses of 0.05 dBi, and the bandwidth rather than 150 KHz. is 130 KHz. A complete success for small facilities or space.

Good Quality Dipole !			Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Purchased this shorter "brother" of the 40MDY1 Rotary Dipole from WIMO, Germany after having read a report by DJ7ZZ in the 12/2012 issue of the FUNKAMATEUR-magazine. I put it up on my Hummel-Mini-Tower only 1,2 m above my Mosley TA63N-Beam at a high of only 36 feet. That is why I can use it mainly in European traffic. So far signal reports within Europe are at least as good as with my G5RV, noise level hoiwever is reduced. Overall quality of the dipole is very good: aluminium tubes, stainless steel screws, High-Q Coils, 3KW-balun, guy ropes are all of high standard.
