pre installation review Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I unpacked the antenna and got everything ready and found out one of the fiberglass spreaders was not assembled properly. Contacted Roger, he stated oh, you can use this and this and I will send you the parts to fix it. I did not buy a antenna that I needed to make corrections to. I bought a plug and play antenna Quality control is lacking.

Happy NA4RR Customer Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I just put up the antenna 3 days ago and I was surprised how easy it was to assemble it.
Explanations were detailed and clear to understand. Now it's on top on my roof on a tripod. I am rotating it with a small TV rotor AND I am getting 5/9 plus most of the time. I am happy about this antenna and I am expecting to do some great DX with it.
Good job Roger!

No better value Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
For the money, you can't beat NA4RR. Well constructed, easy to assemble, and--most importantly--offers the gain of a 2-element yagi on 6 bands at an unbeatable price. Mine is on a military surplus mast with a heavy-duty TV rotor at about 25 feet. Even at this height, has allowed me to work DX that was unreachable before. The SWR is flat across all bands, and the antenna is very quiet. Excellent value.

Update Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
This is an update to a review I wrote earlier regarding NA4RR antenna. I have my antenna installed at 20 ft on a tilt pole with an inexpensive tv rotor. I am getting fantastic results at this height. If I decide to add another 10 or more feet, I will have to put in a winch system for my tilt pole operation. I will leave it at 20 ft, at this height, it is easy for me to walk the antenna down and rest it on a 12 ft ladder. This antenna is 4 to 5 db's quieter than my vertical with 122 ground radials. Swr's are very good indeed, they rage from flat across the 17 meter band to a high on 6 meters of 1 to 6.I will not take any chances when Ice is forcast here in the north east, I will tilt it down. I believe it will survive the ice, but Ice and wind are another issue. I believe the only problem that I will have with the antenna is keeping the turkey vultures off of it.

Just ordered a second one! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I just ordered my second NA4RR hex beam antenna, this time for my work qth, and can only say that the kit is well constructed, uses good materials, and both worked well right out of the box. When I have had a question, Roger was right back with help.

I would not hesitate to recommend His hex beam, if that is what you are considering.

Thanks & 73,
