Description:
A RTTY encoder/decoder software by David Wicks, G3YYD. The 2Tone soundcard interface was written as a replacement for the MMTTY interface in programs like N1MM Logger. It can be substituted for MMTTY as the digital engine used in any of the Logger's DI windows or Additional RX-only windows.
Product is in production

Solid contesting software Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
We used 2Tone for the 2014 ARRL RTTY RU when we operated from Radio Reef in St Croix as WP2/WQ6X. The station was a FLEX1500 run from an older laptop, thus both screen space and CPU overhead were of concern. 2Tone stood up to the onslaught of the pileups we saw. Even with the frequency saturated, it was able to reliably pull out enough partial calls to keep our run frequency under control. It reliably copied all different signal types from fluttery Europeans to overdriven North Americans and ultimately yielded ~1080 QSOs. Using a second Flex 1500 we looked at the waveform we were transmitting. David Wicks tone waveform is superior to other software we've used. We had been planning the trip to US VI for almost a year, but only began to look at 2Tone about 3 months before the trip. Thus it was with some trepidation we decided to make it our starter software. We were not disappointed!
