Great antenna for small lot!!!!!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had this antenna up for about 3 years now, with no issues and great results. The antenna is mounted @ 30ft flattop and I can’t believe how well it works being under 100ft long. I would highly recommend that you buy the version with the 1:1 balun / line isolator, this keeps the RF outside and is worth every penny. I have owned many HF antennas and built many but when I moved and only had 95ft across my entire property to work with I went with the ZS6BKW, this antenna is great for what it is but you have to get it high for it to work well, I wish I could get mine at 40ft. This antenna has really impressed me, the quality and performance can’t be beat for the money. If you have limited space and can get it 30ft or higher you will be very happy with this antenna. I have no issues 10m-75m ( 75m you need an external tuner) I monitor and talk daily on 7.230MHz if you would like to hear the antenna www.wingnuts7230.com (great rag chew group) 73 KC9CUK

This antenna is AMAZING! BUY IT!

Using only this antenna and 100 watts from my Oregon QTH, I’ve worked all the way from São Paulo Brazil to Dunedin New Zealand! That’s 7,500 miles!! I’ve QSO’d to the Arctic Circle, The Dominican Republic, Massachusetts,... it works in all directions and it’s a quality receive and transmit antenna!

It’s affordable and easy to set up. Shorter radials than the G5RV by 22 feet and covers all bands from 160 to 6 meters with my MFJ 969 Tuner.

You can’t go wrong with this antenna. Just be sure to buy quality feedline as with any antenna to be able to achieve the maximum abilities of this antenna!

I’d give it a 10 if I could here.

G5RV Jr. Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I put this antenna in an inverted V at 30 ft elevation and 20 meters SWR is 1:1! I use a LDG at100 pro tuner and it tunes hf no problem. Highly recommend this antenna as it is very well made and will last for years!

Replaced my old G5RV with this updated model.First contact on 10 meters with Morocco.5/9 running 100 watts.Noticeable difference on all bands.Solid construction and great build quality.Thank you for a great product.

I have a 25' vertical in my back yard which does OK on 17-40 but was no good on 80M. A full size G5RV was just too long for the amount of real estate I have along the border of my property. Read some positive reviews of the modified G5RV called the ZS6BKW. It's shorter that the regular one but supposedly works almost as well. Long story short, its up about 20' in the pine trees as an inverted V. Connected to the shack with LMR400 low loss coax. The antenna works great. 20-80M with a decent tuner and you are in good shape. I regularly have SSB contacts as far as the Ukraine. And the cost is a fraction of what any other kind of solution would have set me back. Quality is top notch. Highly recommended.
