Best DMR mobile radio! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
In my opinion it's the best mobile DMR/FM radio ever: ergonomy, clear sound, qualiy of materials
I have not heard of anyone dissatisfied with this radio.

First impression of this DMR/FM mobile with Pro features Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just have the MD785 (GPS) running the latest firmware v9 for a month, I'm still in the process of learning how to use all the features.
I already have a TYT MD380, an Ailunce HD1 (which I like too) and some D-Star radio's, so experienced building codeplugs.

Since it is a mobile trandceiver for the business/professional market, there's only a user manual available, no program- or service manual discovered (yet), you have to be a certified reseller to get the program training and -manuals.
But in PA-country, it is a populair radio and 'with a little help from my friends' (yes, Joe Cocker fan :) ), loaded a pre-fab codeplug and started to find out how to program this radio. I'm still in that process....
It is build like a tank, you can use it in your vehicle and join the Dakar Rally. Think you will break your car, but you can't manage to break this set!
In the short time I'm using it:
It has great audio: there is a 3-band equalizer to tune audio to your needs.
The full color display is bright and the readability is 100% under all conditions.
Operating is easy, but remember: you have to build a lot 'operating stuff' into the codeplug to manage this radio.
I do have the 'extended' (original) microphone which can be used for manual dialing a talkgroup or private contact.
It has an extended accessories-port which can be used for interfacing other hardware (like the big "M" radios).
I will update this review after a longer petiod of using this radio, but this one is a keeper!

A Great Radio Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I did quite a bit of research before buying this radio. I was torn between this and the Moto XPR 5550. Hytera won out! Nice display, excellent audio and superb build quality. Not to mention a lower price. If you are thinking of getting a radio for DMR or even just FM this is it. Just be aware you have to program the radio. But that is just a part of the fun and totally worth it.

Excelent radio for DMR. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Love this radio, however you need a good code-plug or write it yourself.
Is not that hard with the software they offer for this radio.

The programming cable can be made yourself, just put an DB26 connector on a standard USB-cable and solder 3 wires.

It's worth every penny when programmed correctly.
And many people make code-plugs so you can start quickly.

Audio quality is perfect.
If you are on the road a lot, make sure you get the GPS version as it will roam you from repeater to repeater, something the non-GPS version won't do.

Holds 1000 channels and contacts, very handy because you can program all contacts of a small country like Holland or Belgium in there :-)

2 words: Love it!

Great Hybrid radio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought this in the Netherlands for a little less than 400 EUR.
Have the UHF model. Works perfect on DRM (Digital Mobile Radio) as well as FM.
Set is best programmed using optional USB cable.

A plethora of config settings (repeater shifts/CTCSS/Digital squelch/)

Made for Pro appliances (splash water/dust resistant).

DRM sounds much better than D-star, but networking is still a bit in its infancy by comparison, but that is expected to take a leap.
