Excellent Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a excellent piece for lifting antenna's up and down especially at my age. It is well made and makes it quite easy.

Robust, Quality Product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I used the tilt base to mount my 60 foot tall 80 meter vertical. It made raising the 60 foot beast an easy, one person job. Very well designed, heavy duty construction using top quality components, and looks like it will last forever. Pictures on my QRZ page.

Highly recommended!

A "Must Have" for a vertical Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This product comes in 5 different versions to fit most verticals. I originally bought it for a Hy-Gain 14AVQ and now use it with a Hustler 6BTV. Conversion was simply a matter of taking out the old adapter plate and bolting on the Hustler.

Living in central Florida, the "lightning capital" of the US, this is a must have for quickly reducing the strike potential during our frequent severe thunderstorms and high winds. Ground mounted verticals make great lightning rods! With DX Engineering's optional Wing Nut Knobs, I can have it horizontal on the ground in seconds after the weather radio alarm goes off. When the storm passes, it walks back up easily and secures in seconds.

The quality is typical DX Engineering - superb! The manual (16 pages) has all the instructions for all the different versions - with pictures and diagrams.

The bonus? It takes most of the work out of tuning the traps on a Hustler!
