Painful couple of weeks near impossible information to find Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Firstly the developer is still about, but most of the vital information has been lost to sands of time if internet based.

The noise reported is earth issue usb to Bnc and can be solved with power jack earth to Bnc pin.
If affected s1 to S2 noise no coax connections short ethernet to Bnc earth to usb shield see drop.

I have forked git hub 2EOWKS and a pdf to explain firmware update HDSR , schematic and fixing ExtIO to work on x64 win 10.

I intend to add registry settings to make HDSR work as lots of pitfalls it took two weeks to get to point of SDR console V3 and HDSDR Beta working duel receive.

It's a shame that nice hardware seems to pose headaches due to lack of information that took weeks to find

A pioneering early SDR, and still a great receiver Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had one of these since it was first available. Have used it and then put it away, and used it again. Setting it up for USB use is a royal pain, since all the drivers required are unsigned and hard to find. But use it with SDR Console or another SDR program that supports a network connection, and it's a piece of cake to set up. The receiver is quiet, sensitive and sounds great. In comparisons with the current crop of small SDR's like Airspy and SDRplay, it seems a bit quieter and better sounding. You have to admire the effort of Andrus Aaslaid in developing and producing this SDR by himself, when the industry was just starting up. It was half the price of the Perseus, and pretty close in performance. The only thing I've never figured out is how to use the second front end in the receiver.

A piece of junk Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Forget this one...my pal gave me one and the internally generated noise is incredible.
I wasted about an hour loading this, that and the other only to find it's absolutely useless.
My first and last experience of SDR "radio"....fine for computer geeks to waste time with but useless for an experienced operator.

Nice expandable SDR Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The radio performs as advertised and when the transmitter board becomes available will have increased capabilities. It's really nice to have an ethernet ready connection on the MK 1.5.

il mio non funzionava Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
