Review Summary For : InnovAntennas 222 17 Element LFA Yagi
Reviews: 2MSRP: $433.95
Description:
A 17 element Very Low Noise Yagi for serious DX, weak signal and EME applications up on 222MHz.
The G0KSC LFA (Loop fed Array) Yagi has quickly become 'the one to have' if you are looking for serious weak signal work on the bottom of the 222MHz band. The LFA Yagi has been specifically design to ensure the lowest levels of unwanted noise are received. The compliment of a tight, highly suppressed pattern and closed loop fed system ensure everything from rain static to man-made noise are heavily reduced.

Great antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I received this the day before the June contest at 3pm I un-boxed it thinking there is no way I'll be ready for the contest but everything was marked and assembly was a couple of hours. I have a Yaesu elevation rotor G-550 to get above the mtns. so far I have 11 states under my belt 2 EME MS Tropo with FT-736r and TE-0225g and Beko HLV-1000 Just wish there were more people on 222 but I think it's a dying band.

Outstanding Design! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Purchased a pair of these over winter 2013. Assembled and installed "stacked" prior to the June 2014 ARRL VHF Contest. Lower noise floor, smaller side lobes and low SWR (1.12) across 200 khz of the band. Not too sharp off the front end when working rovers during the contest. No rain static during a 15 minute QSO during Sunday morning down pour. Nothing worse than rain static overtaking the station you are trying to work. Worked into West Virgina (High Level Duct) to FM08/W4IY at 980 miles Saturday night with an S7 signal on both ends. Superb construction. These can handle any tough winter. Handled the 1200 watts during the entire contest. I tested these under the most demanding contest conditions and they proved their worth. Can't go wrong with these.
