good for the price paid Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
i bought this antenna in Friedrichshafen HAMradio 2014 for 95€.
when i return at home,i open the package and i found a user manual in Dutch language and unfortunately i don't read Dutch language ! fortunately i found a manual in French language on Internet for this antenna;but poor translation in french language.you need a meter to measure the éléments, and a screwdriver .After one hour the antenna was completed;the only complaint is that i have been obliged to drill 3 holes in the boom because they were drilled at a diameter of 10mm and the plastic spacers had a diameter of 10,55mm so they don't fit Inside;after that i put the antenna on a tube, about 4m above ground level to perform some test with my antenna analyser RIG EXPERT AA-600.in this condition the resonance frequency has been found to be 49.500 Mhz, impedance 53 ohms swr=1.07 ! on 50.154 Mhz i have measured Z=54.6 ohms and SWR=1.27;the coax used was RG213.on the air i compared quickly the antenna with my inverted V dipole,9m above the ground on SV3BSF beacon at a distance of 1600 km from home and the HB9CV of course is the winner, the dB are here .So for the price paid i think it is an antenna to consider !
