Believe it or not, it works! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was VERY hesitant to think a 15 dollar frequency counter from China could work. I turned it on, followed the simple one button instructions and touched the antenna to my handie talkie marine radio on channel 16. (which is 156.8000mhz) After about 2 seconds the display showed 156.8002. I was still in shock, so I tried it again on like channel 11 or something. And then it showed like 157.0500 or whatever. The point is, this silly little thing is dead on accurate and isn't much larger than a deck of playing cards. It also has a collapsible antenna for easy transport. It took 2 weeks to the day to get to my house from China.
