Things I've noticed Time Owned: more than 12 months.
QSSTV's decoding engine has never seemed to be 100% working although it has gotten marginally better over the years. It will stop decoding in the middle of a relatively strong transmission for seemingly no reason. Getting an entire image without it cutting the top off can be hit or miss. I have watched helplessly as it completely ignores entire images coming in at S9+. Sometimes restarting the program will then decode the rest of the image. It will also crash with a divide error seemingly randomly. Other than that it will lock up one of my serial PTT interfaces that works fine with other software.

Brilliant Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have W10 with Easipal and MSSTV also Fedora Linux with QSSTV 9.2x. QSSTV is my preferred software I find it pull stuff out the noise far better than the other W10 software mentioned. Its in the Fedora repository so in terminal sudo dnf install qsstv . Job done that easy.

Grand Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Maybe because I am Linux biased but I even prefer it to MMSSTV (btw MMSSTV also works on Linux via Wine).
