Fantastic head set Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Brilliant crisp audio, and great hi fidelity headphones, great for SSB, CW and other modes. Once you try it, you will shelve the rest.

Well made and sounding headset Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I am primary a cw operator and use headphones rather than using an external speaker. I was attracted to the 2 Q Lite headset because of their lightweight but high quality audio. These did not disappoint. Superbly made using high quality components. Routinely get good audio reports.

They are expensive, but in my mind the old adage of "you get what you pay for" holds true. I like these so much I bought a second pair recently for another station position. Jay has a real winner on his hands.

Fantastic Headset/Mic! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have owned the 2Q lite headset for a couple of years. This is a fantastic headset/mic. It is extremely lite and I can hear really well with it. There is absolutely no fatigue when wearing it for long periods of time. It is well made and the cable does not get tangled up after usage. It is expensive but in my view very well worth the price paid.

The First One Worked So Well, I bought a Second One! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have two sets of 2Q-Lite headsets.

One is used on my Icom IC-7100 in Norway that remotely operates my Alicante Spain station.
The second headset is used on my IC-7600 or IC-756 PRO ll while I am in Spain.

Both have better earphone fidelity than any Heil, Sony and others I've used. Stations sound clearer. I am always surprised how weak signals pop out of the noise for easy copy.

They are very comfortable even after many hours of continuous wearing. Other headsets feel like head clamps after only a few hours and my ears do not perspire either.

I constantly get DX reports of 'excellent Transmit audio clarity'. Local friends familiar with my voice say my on the air audio sounds just like me when talking with them face to face.

I am very pleased with both of my 2Q-Lite purchases.

Lightweight and comfortable Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have used a wide variey of communications headsets in my 50 years of military aviation and ham radio. Some were heavy and uncomfortable, others too flimsy for reliable field use.
I came across an article in the January 2014 issue of QST Magazine reviewing the 2Q Lite boomset microphone. It looked like the ideal traveling companion for my lightweight Elecraft K3 transceiver. I ordered it with the dynamic element, and it is also available with an electret element.
I have not been disappointed. It meets all my criteria for durability, comfort and audio quality that complements the expanded audio capabilities of modern transceivers. It's not inexpensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for, and in the case of the 2Q Lite it's very much worth it.
