program and forget it Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have 4 of the SDC-104 controllers...
1 with a little tarheelHP
1 with M75A tarheel
and 2 with M100 Tarheel antennas
Once the initial programming and set up is completed, just put it in Auto and it follows the frequency of your radio.
It is accurate and consistent, no need to fiddle with it to fine tune the SWR.
I did not experience any of the issues the previous review mentioned, and the display is changeable...when moving up and down, the turns count is visible...
since all 4 of my installs are recent, I can not comment on durability.

Works ok Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
For controlling a screwdriver antenna, the SDC-104 is better than the SDC-102 for memory storage of band and frquencies but I do not enjoy the continuous display scrolling of Frequency, motor current and antenna turns location. Quite annoying when adjusting the antenna manually. With the sdc-102, one can watch the turns count while adjusting the antenna. I wish there was a setting to display only what one wants, not a continuous scrolling display. It is not as accurate as Ameritron states but does control the antenna to the tuned frequency or close to it. Manual tuning adjustment to get the antenna below 3:1 swr is needed most of the time.
