Premature failure - no support Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The first sensor unit failed shortly before the one year warranty was up. I was sent a replacement unit in March, 2017. Within 6 months, this one developed the same issue; burning through a set of batteries in a month. As the warranty on the original unit was up, AcuRite refuses to do anything other than to sell me a new sensor for 15% off. That is MORE than the whole item cost from Costco. There are complete websites dedicated to spreading the word about how poor this product is. The unit also has inadequate protection against insect infestation. CAUTION: DO NOT OPEN INSIDE THE HOUSE. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more and go with a different brand.

works great first year Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought two 5 in one systems. one for Florida and one for Michigan. Shortly after one year the one in Florida began reporting wild temps -40 degrees etc. Replaced it with new one, no useable help from company except buy a new one! In the middle of this winter the one in Michigan started the same thing, reporting 100+ degrees in January.. Again no help from Company.. the system is nice, but I now buy the thru E-bay or Amazon and pay $17.00 for a 3 year warrantyfrom square trade.

Very satisfied Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Kit has everything you need to get temperature, windspeed, wind direction, humidity rainfall measurement both in current time and in periodic record form. Allows you to wirelessly transmit the information to a color display and through a router and bridge to an IPhone or to other smartphones.
I have an IPhone and for me setup was fairly easy.
The dashboard in portrait mode differs from that in landscape and each display has its advantages and disadvantages.
When mounting the approx. 1 foot long 5 in 1 sensor, mount it as high as is possible and free from obstacles so that windspeed and wind direction are accurate. The solar panel on the top of the sensor does not charge the batteries in the sensor, but runs a ventilating fan to provide an accurate temperature.
It is suggested that you use AA lithium batteries in the sensor, for longer life and greater temperature tolerance - having owned a previous battery powered sensor, I can attest to the veracity of that suggestion.
The sensor does require calibration for the rainfall measuring device, but mine measured quite accurately from the manufacturer.
Overall quality was much better than my old accurite and it lasted 7 years. If this one lasts that long i will be quite satisfied.
Accuracy of all 5 measurements is very good when compared with other reports in my immediate area and quite in line with NOAA reports.
On a scale of 1-10 I would give it an 8 or 9. The only drawback being the tedious calibration procedure for the rain gage.
I have no hesitation in recommending it.
