FANTASTIC antenna ! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I currently own all three of the Omniangle series antennas. From my FN24 QTH, on 6-meters I've worked MANY states as well as Mexico, Bermuda, and the Carribean with just 100 watts SSB. On 2-meters, I've worked stations that were about 300-400 miles away on 144.200 USB with 150 watts. As for 440, I have yet to experiment because I'm having too much fun on 2 and 6. GREAT antenna folks! BTW...all three PAR omni-angles mount nicely on a ten-foot mast on your roof.

50 mHz TRUE Omni Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I put up the 6-meter Omni about 10 days ago at ONLY 18 feet.

With 25 watts out of 5054DX ... I worked 25 states in a 6 day period.

If I could hear them .. I could work them.

Great Value for the $$ Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have owned my pair of Omni-Angles (1 each for 50 Mhz and 144 Mhz)for about 10 months now and I have no other choice but to say that I am quite impressed with these products. I have used them in almost every type of weather both stationary and mobile. When ordered they were to be used for travel along the coast and mountains of Oregon. I was impressed with their sturdiness and ability to stay tuned even in the worst thunderstorms I have ever encountered. Even snow and ice could not de-tune these antennas once tuned. Upon moving up there a few months later, I was able to work Rover and Mobile at different speeds and in different situations. Again, I was impressed with their ability to maintain integrity and stay tuned despite being knocked over, iced over, rained on, and wind blown. These things may look flimsy, but appearances are deceptive in this case. Having used them this long, I am encouraged to get a few more to spruce up both my small(yet growing) Rover/Mobile station. I can also say that they work extremely well bolted to the railing at a couple of apartment complexes. Easily disguised and/or hidden. While looking for antennas for my first forays into radio, I researched antennas and their prices. I found that Par's products were far more reasonably priced(saving over $25). Having met other hams and seeing their antennas, I decided on the Par because it travels on airliners much better than any of the others, except for possibly a di-pole. Overall, I readily endorse Par's Antennas. Great value, great product durability and once tuned, they stay tuned. When I moved back to Texas, they were the very first things I packed!!

Great Combination !!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
First, let me clarify that this type of antenna is really omnidirectional, not as the heading
states. After reading some positive comments on the company and their products,
I had first purchased their intermod filter. So far, great results. Next, it was time for
my first roof mounted outdoor antenna system. After a few phone calls to Par and
some questions answered, I decided to go with the combination of the OA-144
stacked 2 meter with a OA-50 6 meter in the center. After placing my order, the
antennas arrived already partially assembled. It took another 30 minutes to finish the
assembly and secure them to the 20 foot mast and attach the LMR-400 coax.
Once everything was double checked, the antennas were mounted via a chimney
mount. Turning on the IC-706MK2G with the outdoor roof mounted antennas
rewarded me with:
1: Less backround noise (compared to previously running the 706 with a Comet SB-15
mobile antenna indoors).
2: Signals that were barely readable before were now coming in loud and clear.
It's now been almost a week since I've been using this combination of OA-144 stacked
with OA-50 in the center. I've been having FUN on both 6 & 2 meters talking to just
about anyone I can hear. This combination probably won't come near to using a beam,
but as my first outdoor roof mounted system, I've been 100% pleased with both the
quality of product and the quick and responsive service I've received from Dale
at Par Electronics.

OA-50 for 6M Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've used the OA-50 for over a year with my Yaesu FT-847
and have no complaints. If I can hear 'em I can work 'em.
It's perfect for small or restricted locations or if, like me,
you don't want to mess with towers, masts, rotors or multi element beam antennas. Nice bang for the buck.

easy to install works great Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
i wanted a antenna to use for 6 meters but due to heavy tower loading here another yagi was out of the question so i decided to go with the par 6 meter triangle. as stated in a earlier review the only assembly needed was to install the two aluminum rods and the flexable piece to the boom cross piece. i installed on the side of my tower no tuning was necessary as the vswr at 50.125 is 1.3:1 bandwidth appears to be around 700 khz just what the doctor ordered. this looks like a product that will stand up for years. i didnt get it a 5 rating as i dont think anything out there is excellant but this antenna deserves at least a 4.8 rating

Excellent value! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
From the time I opened the box until the OA-144 was mounted on a mast on the roof and the SWR adjusted was just about 20 minutes. All assembly had been performed by PAR prior to shipping, with the exception of the loop, and that merely press-fits into the crossbar.

As I live in a very rural area, there is very little I can use as a comparison between this and the 1/4 wave vertical I used to have up. There are only 3 voice repeaters in the area and no packet stations that I can find. I was able to raise the repeaters with no difficulty, even with the horizontal configuration. This morning I had a solid copy on the ISS as it passed over only about 10 degrees above the horizon - barely enough to clear the local mountains! I'm not yet set up for data transmission, so was unable to contact the ISS.

Short of putting up a stick, this was the easiest antenna to mount and tune I have seen. SWR is as advertised, and having had a torrential downpour yesterday, I was pleased to see the SWR was not affected.

While the rating of 5 may seem a bit high to some, I feel it is correct. While this antenna would not compete with a multi-element beam, or perhaps even with a half-wave vertical, it is excellent for small-space installations, and suited my needs perfectly. It is mounted on the one mast I have on my roof, which supports my 6 meter vertical and my HF G5RV. To mount almost any other type of 2 meter antenna would have required a second mast. In an urban location, I'm sure this antenna would be perfect for almost any casual 2 meter operator like me, and I highly recommend it!
