Very functional but not "pretty" Time Owned: more than 12 months.
From a functional standpoint and for its intended use, it is exceptional. After about 10 minutes of practicing not keeping my fingers under control I was sending very good code and whatever speed I wanted to. I have over 100 keys in my collection from bugs to Begali's and everything in between. And I use them all when the mood strikes.

I find the appearance to be a bit uninspiring though. No chrome, gold plating, fancy logos, and I can't see my reflection in it. On the other hand, there is nothing to polish, clean, adjust, or fiddle with. Sigh...

Perhaps a deluxe version that is brass plated, shiny, with little red "jewels" here and there, and a fancy logos that look like a dragon would dress it up. Hmmm.

I think I'll go back to my TP-1 now and make some contacts. I'll shine up my other keys when I'm done...

Wonderful Paddle Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I purchased this paddle for my lake cabin and all I can say is how impressed I am with it. Not quite as smooth as my 9A5N solid state key but it can't be beat for the price. Excellent build quality! My only wish was that it had a on/off power switch, but I did build my own power cable with one easily enough. Great customer service and fast shipping! Buy this and you won't regret it!

Better than sliced bread! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
WOW!. I could stop right here with WOW but I'll continue. Why did I wait so long? Incredible "feel" (probably because there aren't any moving parts or adjustments). Makes for very smooth sending. I was/am a paddle slapper anyway so the transition was...well, there really wasn't any to speak of. Bob was very responsive and helpful with my "20 Questions" way before I bought the key. Let's see: Great construction...Looks great...Responsive company...American made! Yes, Just plain, "WOW!"

Smooth Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I work 99.9% CW and enjoy cooties and straight keys for slow speed CW. For QRQ CW I have a very nice magnetically dampened paddle but my sending just wasn't improving like I had hoped - this key changed that.

Right out of the box this key allowed me to go from 25 wpm to 30 wpm sending speed, wow! My goal is 45 wpm...if I ever get there it will be with this key.

If your serious about QRQ CW then the TP-1 for you.

Well designed, well constructed. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I've been using the TP-1 touch paddle for the last four weeks. The paddle worked perfectly right out of the box. I'm impressed with its smooth keying and excellent build quality. Highly recommended.

Really Outstanding Paddle! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I've only had my TP-1 a few days and I must say, I am a believer. I've used capacitance touch paddles in the past (Heathkit and one other Company, no out of business), but this paddle is light years away from those. They work like a dream. Smooth, no moving parts and they just work. There is a sensitivity adjustment, but I haven't made any changes. They work for me right out of the box. They are beautifully made and well worth the price. If you love CW, you need to try the TP-1.

Pleasantly Surprised Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After owning too many Keys, single lever, dual lever from low dollar to very top dollar, this Key surprised me.

A few years ago I tried another touch Key but requested my money back in short order. It was not what the maker stated. I also had the original Heathkit Capacitance Touch Key back when.

I looked at this Key not long after they came out, even contacted Bob but never jumped until now. Once Bitten Twice Shy. All my doubts vanished upon the first try. I found it a natural, for me anyway it was just completely natural. I didn’t have to change anything in the way I use a Key. The way it was set originally is perfect for me. It’s true that it makes sending fast easier. I don’t like a Key that is not a very close tight feel. With this Key it’s impossible to get any closer, as per it’s name sake, Touch Key.

If you can use an iPhone you can use this Key. I think it’s clever the way your arm and forearm rests on soft comfortable material. It comes with a power supply and a cable with extra length.

I helped N3ZN get his start and have owned just about every high-end Key made including the WBLV22 everyone rants about, so I do have experience with many different top end Keys. That said, the performance of this Touch Key it next to none.

For the price it’s impossible to beat what you get all around. You could buy several of these Keys for the cost of just one high-end Key.

If you’re into CW don’t do yourself a disservice and ignore Bob’s Key, get you one and see what I mean!

FYI: I don’t know Bob at all other than buying his excellent Key.

Great Product and service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently got a QSK,llc TP-1 iambic touch paddle from Bob. I was not expecting a lot but boy was I surprised. I really like this thing. I am not a high speed op but I do enjoy paddles. I only work CW and have built a lot of paddles myself over the years. These paddles easily compete with or run better than high end paddles. It took me very little practice to get used to the feel and to make sure I didn't let my fingertips linger on the paddle. After A few minutes practice I had them on the air. I hate admitting it but this things are as good or better than any paddles I have built. They are consistent and I never get false dits or dahs. No adjustments to be made just plug and play. I won't give up my heavy metal but the QSK,llc TP-1 will have a permanent spot on my operating table. They are a joy to use. And Bob is a pleasure to deal with.

The best touch paddle made. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have had the TP-1 more than a couple of years. I have had some of the older (going back to the Heathkit SA-5010 uMatic Keyer) touch paddles and never could even use them on the air. The Heathkit I used with external key's. Bob has this TP-1 setup so it works with no falsing.

I still have trouble getting use to the touch. Probably because I don't make myself use it all the time and switch back and forth between other great mechanical keys. All and all I would highly recommend the TP-1 as a great high speed CW key.

Great paddle at a reasonable price Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Being an old time CW OP I will admit it took me a bit of practice with the QSK II. My problem was I had a tendency to keep my fingers too close to the paddles and at times I would insert a dit or a dah where it did not belong. Once I learned to keep my fat fingers a bit farther away from the paddles things really fell into place.

It is a great paddle. Sends great CW effortlessly, which, at my age is really appreciated. I bought this paddle at the 2018 Dayton Hamvention and after a year I can only say it is outstanding. Compare the cost of this device versus other offerings on the market and it's a no brainer. I'm heading for Dayton next week and will be buying a second unit for my Florida QTH so I don't have to cart this one back and forth. I can only say, "Try it, you'll like it".
