Just to confirm what other already wrote Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
This is a powerful and very stable power supply. It is essentially a server power supply with added coils, toroids, etc. boxed in stainless steel to make it almost electrically noiseless.
The small fan added to facilitate the flow inside the box is a bit loud and can be annoying.
Box is riveted

See review below... Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This supply delivers high current in a small package. No detectable RFI but the unit can be improved:

1) Not user serviceable. Incredible, but the entire unit is locked up with rivets. So, no user access to the supply for repairs and/or modifications;

2) Very loud cooling fan. You almost need to remote the supply away from the operating desk;

3) Please folks, when designing supplies, include an IEC power entry module. There are times when the supply needs to be moved or used at another location where it's convenient to unplug the existing power cord, then use another power cord at a different location. It's also easier to service the supply with a detached IEC power cord -- well, easier if the case wasn't locked down with rivets.

Great Job / I am very Happy with it. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Handles a large amp draw of Led 12 Volt lights 60 plus amps
Also works great on my ham gear . I plan on getting a second one!!!! As for the rivets they are fine with me. Good Job Rusty.

Great deal Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've know Rusty for a few years and he does top notch work and stands behind what he builds. I bought the 2KW for the extra money and it loafs along running an 8 pill amp. Nice package and setup. Would like to see the terminals on the rear but otherwise well laid out. No voltage sag
with various applications. Nice work Rusty!

pretty nice Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was in need of a higher amperage supply and found this one K5IZ is "building" listed on QTH.com. It seems to be a server power supply in a shiny box rated at 75amp on 110 and 100 on 240. It is metered using digital metering and that is accurate. Output voltage is variable from 8.7 to 14.4vdc on mine. Case is stainless steel and it has brass binding post, and LIGHTED ON/OFF/RESET switch. I swept the bands with the TS2K using the MFJ 4230 it was hooked up to and then with this one in line. It does have a few less birdies then the MFJ ON THE HAM BANDS. The fan is very quiet, but I seldom hear the fans on anything because if I am in the shack the radio is turned up. Stays relatively cool when left on all day with a lite amp draw (1.5A from the 2K on RX) The main and really the only CON I have is that it comes to you RIVITED closed. It's a 4 because of the rivits
