Accurate, durable, dependable! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Bought this over a year ago. I had been using an AIM4170 connected to my laptop, but that was getting a bit cumbersome to haul around, and I’ve been getting into more portable operations. The AIM is wonderful. The AA1400 is just as wonderful! Made field day a snap this year, and it doesn’t add much weight to my pack. I can’t add much more that previous reviewers have said, but I will say that I am extremely pleased with the performance of this unit.
Stay strong Ukraine!

A "Must Have" for anyone experimenting with antennas! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
RigExpert "Tech Support" is a great resource. I’ve submitted tech questions two different times, and Support responded quickly and provided good answers to questions I was asking. I purchased my RigExpert AA-1400 at the May 2019 Dayton HamVention. So I’ve used it for about two years now - with no problems.

I just tested a 432 MHz 2-port power divider that I made, putting 50 ohm terminations on both antenna ports and connecting the RegExpert AA-1400 to the rig end port. I did this before I covered the ends of the power divider, then added the end caps, and checked it again. The impedance did change slightly but still very acceptable. I used square furniture tips (Hillman 1 in. square #884318) for the end caps - sealing them with silicone adhesive sealant.

I used the RigExpert AA-1400 last week to cut Davis Bury-FLEX coax jumpers to one-wavelength multiples at 432 MHz. My most frequent use is for tuning VHF/UHF yagis.

The RigExpert AA-1400 is so handy to use, and needs no pc - although a pc can be used to save screen shots or update firmware (I’ve not done that yet). I have two other VNAs (PocketVNA and XaVNA, both two-port VNAs), but prefer the RigExpert AA-1400, as this one-port Antenna Analyzer satisfies almost all of my needs.

Tip for current users: Since the AA-1400 has a female N-connector, I keep adapters in the carrying case side pocket. But it’s easy for the adapters to fall out. I found that one of the Meijer Pharmacy medication bottle is a perfect tight fit in the carrying case pocket for two adapters. The pill bottle is about 1-1/4 in. diameter on the bottom and about 3-1/2 in. high. So no more losing the N-connector adapters.

Excellent antenna analyzer Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Rig Expert is a great team of professional team, so the all products made is they should be. I've been using AA-1400 for many months for now and never had any issues. It works as you expect. The huge benefit is ability to connect to the PC and run analysis from the software. It's definitely a big plus. AA-1400 covers a wide frequency range that allows me use for HF, VHF and UHF antennas design and calibration. Portable use, battery power, bright LCD and creative design brings this antenna analyzer to the top. Recommended!

Outstanding Product Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I picked this model up due to sometimes doing antenna work at 1295Mhz. This is a very well designed and versatile product. This is an easy to use analyzer and works well at all of its RF range.

Professional Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
It was time to purchase a new Analyser and Rigexpert seem to get good reviews. I was considering a model to cover UHF but have started some 23cm experiments so decided on the AA-1400.

I really have found this to be a very well built and high performing product. I particularly like the display so no PC is required for day to day use but you can also connect/run it from a PC.

Buy one and you will never want to go back to another manufacturer
