Great Book for Digital Operation Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Digital Modes For all occasions by Murray Greenman, ZL1BPU is an excellent book to be added to the library of the serious radio amateur who operates the digital modes. It is also recommended for anyone who is just getting involved with these modes. The specific modes covered are: Amtor, Clover, Hellscreiber, MFSK, MT63, PacTOR, PSK31, RTTY, image modes, and advanced digital modes. It contains basic information on setting up the digital station and software choices. This book contains much more technical information about the modes than others I own. One of the most iteresting chapters is the one titled, Digital modes and the Ionosphere. Again, in my opinion it is well worth the selling price.
