As Good As I'd Hoped Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased an HFedz antenna after looking at prices and reading the (limited) comments on this antenna. I emailed the manufacturer, W3PLR (Luis) and he responded quickly with answers to my questions. The HFedz came with a 148' wire connected to the 9:1 balun and I replaced it with a 117' length appropriate for my condo. I have the 6-80 meter version. I noticed that I was hearing more stations than normal (my own home-brew unun. I then compared it to my 19' vertical with adjustable coil. The vertical had outperformed my old wire antenna, but the HFedz outperforms my vertical. I don't expect a beam, but this is a big improvement and it is reasonably quiet. All appears well constructed and is as good as I hoped, both in construction and in operation.

HFedz Antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After moving into a town home that had strict HOA's I decided to purchase an end fed antenna for an attic application. I've been using the HFedz for a couple of months now. I have the 6m-40m model. It is very compact and the size of the antenna (wire gauge) was very useful as I only had to drill a very small hole into the ceiling so I could run the wire into the attic. The antenna tunes very well using an MFJ versa tuner. I have made many contacts with it on HF. I'm very pleased with its construction and ease of use.
