Totally adequate Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've been using a QYT8900, or is it a KT8900, whatever, they're all the same, for the past year plus. It's mounted on the dash of my 20 year old Land Rover whose main purpose is off road adventures. My son has the Zastone unit, again pretty much the same radio. They have both performed well and without fail in some very rough environments. The only irritation I've had is that they won't knob tune in 2.5kz increments. They WILL accept those inbetween freqs via software programming. Our requirements are pretty simple, we work mostly simplex, and these units are 100% adequate.

Liked it so much I bought another! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Small size coupled with low power requirements makes mobile operation of this radio, powered from a vehicle lighter/power port, with a mag-mount antenna, very feasible. I don't have a thing to dislike about this radio. This radio also appears to sold under a number of different brand name/models including: POFUNG BF-9500; ZASTONE MP-320; QYT KT8900; BTECH MINI UV-2501; QYT KT-UV9800; JUENTAI JT-6188.
