Review Summary For : InnoVAntennas 4 ele 10M Op-Des Yagi
Reviews: 1MSRP: 350
Description:
The OP-DES is the newest Yagi produced by InnovAntennas
and is specifically designed for maximum performance,
wide-band applications. InnovAntennas use the latest in
Electromagnetic Design Technology to ensure the very best
results and the OP-DES Yagi is proof of that!

This antenna has a flat SWR curve covering 27-29MHz at
less than 1.5:1 SWR. Bandwidth can be easily moved to
cover two other ranges if the standard does not suit,
26.5MHZ to 28.5MHz or 27.5Mhz to 29.5MHz. The super-
compact antenna provides a huge punch.

Excellent performance for the size Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have always had an affinity for the 10M band but have never had a dedicated yagi for the band. I have a small tower that is already crowded with vhf/uhf antennas but I wanted to add something for 10 meters that would be relatively compact, have good bandwidth and good gain. The InnovAntennas Op-Des design fit the bill. With 4 elements on a slightly larger than 10 foot boom, it fits nicely on my small tower.

The build quality is terrific and the antenna was extremely easy to build. I opted to use a InnovAntennas balun for attaching the coax to the terminals on the driven element. It too is well-made.

Performance has been terrific with good gain, excellent front to side rejection and good front to back rejection. The pattern is very clean, despite other antennas on the tower being in close proximity. Bandwidth is excellent just as advertised.

Communications with the company were excellent. I hope to get many years of use out of this fine antenna. It is rated for 125 mph winds and so I will let you know how it handles the next hurricane to hit Long Island!
