A good companion to JK Mid Tri 40 Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
After having JK Mid Tri 40 at 100 ft, I added JK Mid Tri at 60 ft. Lots of elements to assemble but easy after assembling JK Mid Tri 40. The upper antenna is always equal or better than the lower antenna on 20m, but reverse can be true on 15 and 10m. Often the best combination is both phased. JK Mid Tri is a set and forget antenna. Low SWR and it just works.

A Good Choice! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Already using the JK Big Tri atop tower #1 and the JK 403 atop tower #2, I decided to change out a much older Skyhawk antenna mid point on tower #2 and replace it with the JK Mid Tri. This antenna builds well, just like the other JK's. Performance is right on as published. It's a good choice.

Stack em Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I wanted a new multi monobander interlaced on a single boom for stacking on a crank up. The intent was to be able to work across the bands HP both on CW and SSB while SO2R and in phase with an upper antenna that had 40m on it's boom. The standard Mid-Tri fit this bill!

The antenna was reasonable to build with a great mechanical design. Electrically it worked as I expected keeping my Acom 2000A and Alpha 78 happy. The manual is well made and easy to follow.

I'm honestly confident in running both CW and SSB. DXing is a pleasure too. SWR curves, F/B, and gain is great, as is not having to wait on a motor to tune for each band change.

I am very happy with this antenna's mechanical and electrical qualities.

Ken's customer service is very good, especially considering how busy he has become.

Excellent So Far Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just installed a 2 high stack of Mid-Tri's (128' and 88').

Mechanically they are excellent and perform per spec's (swr and fb wise).

Looking forward to giving them a work out this fall/winter.

Excellent Tribander Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I’ve had a JK MidTri on a TIC 1032 ring rotor at 83 feet since August 2015 and couldn’t be happier. Assembly was straight forward with no surprises. A digital angle meter came in handy to check that the boom to element plates were in the same plane though a bubble and patience would have worked fine too. The boom section joints use ¼” wall sleeves secured with two 3/8” bolts on each side of the joint and this robust build philosophy travels through the entire antenna.
I’ve found customer service to be excellent. If you desire optimization for band segments or need boom joints to be relocated to prevent interference with any particular boom cradle, as in my case, Ken will accommodate you and is an absolute pleasure to work with.
I also have the JK3040 and the JK1217 and am equally as pleased with them. My previous antennas were Force 12 C3 (2 stack and single at different QTHs), Mag340 and a Warc7.
All in all these are very fine antennas from a very good company.

VERY well made antenna Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
JK has the best mechanical design of any antenna on the amateur market. These antennas are very solid and will have no trouble surviving Minnesota winters. Electrical performance is outstanding. I also have the JK-65 6 meter beam and the (discontinued) TX-38D tribander.
