Review Summary For : Jackson Harbor KeyAll HV
Reviews: 1MSRP: 15.50
Description:
The Keyall HV kit allows the owner of a keyer with a low
voltage positive (NPN or n-channel MOSFET) keying
transistor to drive the vacuum tube transmitters and
transceivers of yesteryear, such as the Hyprid
transceivers. This unit will key negative voltage rigs
(grid block keying) or positive voltage rigs (cathode
keyed tube transmitters and conventional +13.8V powered
solid state rigs). The output transistors and capacitor
are rated at 1000 V and 3.1 A (3100 mA). The KeyAll HV is
an upgrade of the KeyAll but it has higher voltage
ratings for those bigger jobs.

Even better than the GREAT KeyALL Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Since this is the first review, there are some things you should know about this kit. I think this little kit should be incorporated in every keyer. No special “arrangements” or equipment to key those older units, like the Hybrids. Just plug it in series with the output from your keyer and you can key almost any rig, new or old, with no problems. Very nice little printed circuit board. Follow the instructions and you should be able to finish it up in less than an hour. In addition to a few simple tools, you will need a small metal enclosure like a candy tin, input and output jacks (I used RCA jacks) 2 batteries (AA or AAA) which will last a VERY long time and a battery holder. While the price is $15.50, you can get the kit with lower voltage components for $14.00, but for only $1.50 more you get the HV package.
