Premium Ultralight Full Sized Hexbeam Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
March 2022 - I recently received the Ultralight MWOJZE hexbeam to replace a Traffie 20m portable hexbeam that I purchased in 2005. It is a premium antenna that is custom built per order. It is all aluminum and fiberglass. If I were going on a DxPedition this is the antenna I would expect to have extra headroom with respect to adverse weather. A look at the center hub and the vertical support says it all, compared to any other hexbeam. My mount will be permanent and I will replace the velcro with tie-wraps. As it comes, everything is pre-cut and tuned for immediate deployment in the field. It is a standard full sized hexbeam (larger than the original Traffie model). After I have had it up for some time I'll add an update on what is expected to be the standard documented G3TXQ hexbeam performance specs.

A good choice for Dxpedition Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I ordered it 4 months before our expedition to FP island (TO5FP), it came on time and I had time to test it before. Building is quite easy and take less than one hour when you have already done this before. All wires are cut at the right length, manual is quite well written. optional storm cords where very useful since we faced strong winds. it kept always a good shape in the wind unlike our second hexbeam (a folding hexbeam). It made the job very well during the expedition, ROS was good on all bands.

6Kg Dx-pedition antennaa Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Bought this antenna for a recent Dx-pedition due to its lightweight. (6Kg). Perfect for weight restricted flights.
Worked well and instructions adequate.
Worth getting the optional carry bag, didn't use the storm cords this time but probably come in handy in some more windy locations.
Probably worth some extra protection of the spreaders in the carry-bag if anticipating heavy handling. (I used some plastic tubes)
