Great Key Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This key is a fantastic portable/dx-pedition/QRP key. Originally used by the British on their manpack radios and was also used by many Commonwealth countries.

The action in the Mil Spec configuration is very firm. Contrary to popular myth these keys are adjustable if you pull the key apart.

You can get this key adjusted with the same sensitivity and gap spacing as a high end key like the Marconi 365 which is really amazing.

To have such a small key with good action is a senders delight. These keys are very hard to find these days. But if you can pick one up on your Travels you wont regret owning this superb Key.

There really is not a commercial key available that is so rugged in quality and reliability. These keys were designed to be used in a war zone and are waterproof and weather resistant. Its so good I use it now regularly as my main station key. The contacts seem to stay clean even in high humidity areas.

I even like to use this key mobile with a leg strap. Because its so small its unobtrusive and it wont move around because of lack of weight and its small dimensions.

If you do find one you can pull it apart and treat the gaskets with Dow Corning Silicone grease. The gap and spring sensitivity can be locked with Loktite or something similar. The adjustments stay put once adjusted.
