Beautiful little QRP Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just got a couple of days ago. Nice build. Menus fairly easy to traverse. My large fingers able to work the buttons. Tuning smooth. Step function for tuning more than adequate. Pulls in SSB and CW better than the Ten Tec Argonaut V. 3 filters each mode are set, 4th filter each mode is programmable. Their is a pan but I have found it only a little useful, hard to find a nearby signal if it is buried close to noise. This may improve with use and understanding. This would be easy to take backpacking.
Two problems - SWR should read either on numerical or scale but only reads 1.0, so is not functioning. Second problem is Power out reading. It only reads 0.0 in spite of reception on the Argo V on another antenna at the other end of the house. Email was sent today. We will see how long it takes to iron out the problem.
This is an SDR in its infancy, the manual is beta and online. Helpful is information from an older but similar LD-5 found online.
Review is given with the assumption the transmission issues will be resolved. No QSO has actually been achieved yet, but then this is QRP and my dipole needs a bit of repair, and band conditions are really bad since rig arrived.
