Works properly. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
My radio is the Kenwood TS-590S. As purchased, the tuning was about 100hz low on 20 meters. I did the internal adjustment (TC-501) but it is a VERY touchy adjustment and I was only able to get it to 20hz low. I installed the Syncium TCXO from China, and now my frequency is stable, and is 1hz high. My TCXO came without the PCB so it took a bit longer to install, but if you have a good soldering station it's no problem.
I also don't understand why Kenwood would not include the TCXO as standard equipment in such a fine radio.

Don't waste your money on a SO-3 Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I originally purchased this TCXO off of eBay for about $15.99. The price has slowly crept up a bit as its gained popularity.

I have a Kenwood TS590SG, and I still for the life of me cannot figure out why Kenwood would choose not to put a TCXO in this fine rig. But for $15.99 it was a no brainer! The TCXO was already presoldered to a PCB which made it that much easier. Installation took less than 5 minutes.

I use a lot of digital modes, and would experience slight drift on start up & during temperature cycles of the rig, but with this TCXO, that has been completely eliminated.

Great product!
