Outstanding robust and light Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Update:

I had issues with my Rotor, and had to replace..

There is nothing more comforting, than knowing the mast is only 25Lbps, and easily take down. It took 2 minutes...All very good..

I am supporting a hex Beam, and using Yasue Rotor (450) / (New One), up on top..I have the antenna about 30 ft,

The benefit, is the fact it is light, robust, and easily to take down...Other masts weigh more, (Double), the mechanics of the tightening of each mast section is second to none...

The below is my old review..

This is a well designed Mast (I purchased the 41FT) Aluminum Mast..

It is very light, robust, and easy to take down, and take up..

It is very light..The alternative is steel (Weighs to heavy) or a tower, to expensive)

This is perfect and engineered well

I recommend this mast for those of you on a field trip or permanent (Especially supporting Spider beam) and Hex beam

No competition Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I use it for Spiderbeam. With an actuator as described by W5FCX, it takes a few hrs to erect by a single person. Lift by 0.5m, loosen the guys, and repeat until done. Most of the time is spent loosing the guys. Perhaps 1 hr work with helpers. The mast is sturdy with no movement in the wind.
I don't know of any other mast that is relatively light yet sturdy.

This is a really well engineered mast. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a well engineered mast. I have owned Maxgain heavy duty fiberglass masts, mfj aluminum masts and nothing comes close to this. Ofcourse things can be improved always but as far as masts go this is the best. The telescopic tubes go into each other smoothly. The band clamps are not the ordinary jubilee clamps (hose clamps). These actual band clamps like Tbolt clamps. On a windy day (15 mph) my fiberglass mast would turn into a fishing rod and bend over my house. This one is sturdy and stays straight. Some folks have complained about the lack of instructions. But one does not really need any. The mast comes assembled anyway. And another thing, one of the reviewer has complained about having to take apart the mast to put in the guy wire rings. This is not true. One has to take out just band clamps. Thats all. Yes it is heavy. It made out of aluminum tubes that are 2 mm. walled.

I bought this mast to hold my NA4RR Hex Beam at 40 feet or so. As each section is nested in the previous one, you can raise it to any length up to the max. First off, as the previous reviewer noted, no instructions. A few hints would have saved time and effort, and is the reason it doesn't get a higher rating. So here are a couple of tips. In order to install the guy rings the mast must be taken apart, as each collar only fits the mast piece it was designed for. Take a magic marker and number each section in the proper order. Also mark each clamp in order. If you get the clamps out of order, the wrong clamp will not lock the mast in place. Next, as you push it up with a Hex Beam, it gets heavy! The previous reviewer recommended an actuator, available on Amazon, which worked like a charm. I hose clamped it to the bottom section, applied 12 volts, and it (very slowly) raised each section. That added about a hundred bucks to the operation. It took 2 people about 8 hours over several days, but it's up, solid, and I'm pleased.

Great mast for the money Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought this HD mast to go with my HD Spiderbeam and get it up in the air around 50' feet, including the base/rotor and stand pipe. So far, it has done the job quite nicely.

One issue with the mast had to do with not receiving any instructions or docs in the box, so I found myself experimenting and making certain mistakes as a first-time mast user. Better (any?) documentation in the box would be a great help for newbie mast users.

The biggest challenge turned out to be raising the mast with the heavier HD Spiderbeam antenna on top. As you get several sections up, it becomes quite heavy and difficult to lift. Worse yet, it takes two people on ladders to deal with it - one to lift and hold, another to tighten/untighten (and hope it does slip on you).

I came up with my own solution to this problem - a way to automatically raise the mast 30 inches at a time, along with a way to mount and dismount the antenna - without any helpers, so I can handle the antenna and mast now solo at my remote location, where getting help isn't easy. Visit my website for more details on how I manage this mast now: http://www.w5fcx.net/2016/11/24/how-i-manage-my-mast-and-spiderbeam-antenna/

Overall, I would recommend this mast as it's sturdy, high-quality aluminum construction, capable of handling a serious load like the 26 pounds of HD Spiderbeam (with proper guying).
