9 Years no Problems Time Owned: more than 12 months.
First got the rotor in 1990 to turn a MoonRaker IV 10 meter quad- worked fb- then used it for a few years on a 10 meter yagi- sat outside under the dirt for a couple of years and now is turning my 2 meter set up and large TV antenna- has worked fine-

What a pain in the (er um) ankle! Time Owned: unknown months.
I purchased this unit as part of a roof top antenna package supporting a HyGain TH3MK4 tribander. After 9 months of service, the pot in the rotor itself, which controls the direction reading on the box, went compleatly dead. I then had to take it down and send into HyGain (4 weeks). It came back refurbished but again broke in a similar way. HyGain repaired it under warranty but refused to let me "upgrade" for a reasonable price. Well, that same pot broke again , out of warranty! This time, I decided to demand a free repair (and got it) but installed a Yaesu G-450XL, which has worked fine ever since! I have talked to hams around the world using the CD45II and older TR44 rotator and many report the same repeated failure!
