Excellent amp! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I bought the amplifier for my DXpedition to Spratly Island. Packed it in a small suitcase, just padded with tshirts. Positioned it next to the airconditioner on the island. It performed perfectly. Even used it sometimes on antennas not cut for the band, SWR 3:1 or less was fine. 1500W on 6M and 1000W on HF, ran it for days. I would let MSHV (3-4 streams) run all night and the amp just continued to work. The only time it was turned off was when the generator was refueled, about 20 minutes downtime. It helps me hunt DX at home now. Really happy with it.

I recently upgraded to the OM2000A+, after owning & running a number of older manual-tune amplifiers over the years: Ameritron 572, Drake L-4B, Heathkit HL-2200, Yaesu FL-2100B.

I had been wanting an Alpha 9500, but once I was ready to buy a new amp, the china virus was in full-swing, and Alpha's production had been shutdown for many, many months (and as of this writing, still is, I believe). I considered the purchase of an older Alpha 87A, but the scarcity (and cost) of replacement tubes deterred me from that.

I read everything I could find about OM Power, and they have earned very high marks and positive comments for all of their gear, and their guick respones to issues, so I decided to go with them. Also, their US supplier and servicer (Array Solutions) is here in Texas, so that is very handy. In fact, once the order was placed, the delivery was made the day after it shipped. I should mention that the particular one I bought was a used one (and therefore "in stock" in Texas), but upon arrival I found it was in perfect/as new condition, and came with a 1-year full warranty.

I've had the amp only a week or so, but so far I'm thoroughly impressed! Set-up was very easy, and the RF-sensing auto-tune feature is wonderful. It always finds its "tune" solution within a second or two, and with just a pulse of power. Band changes are a breeze! Just pick your frequency, give it pulse of RF, and it's ready to go!

I'm driving it with a Yaesu FTDx-101D, which can be connected directly to the amp (via CAT line), to control the band changes electronically instead of using the RF sensing method. I may look at that in the near future... but in the mean time, the auto-tune is amazing.

40-50 watts of drive EASILY gives full legal-limit output. Input/output seems very consistent across all the bands. The biggest problem is: Getting too much output power (!) if you're not careful... Gotta watch that drive power!

Time will tell how it does long term, but I do not anticipate any issues... so far I'm very, VERY happy with it.

Amazing piece of equipment Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought the OM2000A+ to replace my solid state amplifier. It is built like a tank and so far has performed flawlessly. One main feature over the solid state I had, is the ablity to go in and manually set up the settings for peak performance to your equipment them save them. Contact with Tibi for customer support has been the best I have ever received from an equipment manufacture.

Very Happy with Service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I purchased the OM2000A+ in late 2016 and the amp has worked flawlessly until early this fall. I added the remote antenna switch which didn't work at first because my amp was an early model with the incorrect I/O panel. Tibi sent the correct one right away. Service with Tibi and Array Solutions is top notch. Unfortunately, the amp developed a problem with the control board. Again, Array Solutions stepped right up and repaired the amp under warannty. It's an awesome amp with the auto band and antenna select. Highly recommend them.

I met the people from OMPower for the first time at the hamfair in Friedrichshafen. Totally convinced, I ordered an OMPower. My desire to install a sampler for predistortion was not a problem. 2 weeks later I got the new power amp. The built-in sampler with minus65db works perfectly together with my Anan7000DLE. Also I had a few questions and each time I received an answer from OMPower on the same day; competent and confident. The OMPower2000A + is a dream together with the Anan. A lot of power and a very clean signal. Go for it ...

I too am an extremely happy ham due to the purchase of this amplifier. The warranty support is superb. Tibi and Jay provide to best service I have ever had.

Had a problem with a small smd capacitor on the low pass filter board. Tibi sent out a replacement circuit board so I could perform the repair myself.
The board was sent free from Europe via DHL and talk about quick response!!

If you have questions they are quick to respond.
I highly recommend OM Power - Dont let there location in Europe discourage you at all... Jay is in Texas (from Array Solutions) and offers great support in any way needed.

I am not one to write a review. But OM Power and Array Solutions are people you will doing business with... and welcome to a happy bunch of hams using OM Power Amps!

Great Amplifier Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have had probably 2 dozen amplifiers in my ham career, including the Prometheus, Quadra, Icom 4-KL, PW-1, Alpha 77SX, Acom 2000A and many more.

Recently received this automatic amplifier from OM Power and am very pleased and impressed. The menu system is simple and informative and the amplifier works perfectly with many protection circuits. Very compact and light weight given that it is a tube amplifier. One FU-728 tube which will not break the bank if you need a spare or replacement. Finally customer service from Tibi and the crew at OM Power is superlative.

Hello,

We purchased the OM Power 2000A+ about 4 months ago. The amplifier is used as the main amplifier in contests at home and at S51A contest location. We also have SPE EXPERT 2K FA for everyday usage at home, but it is not so powerful for heavy duty cycle types of transmissions like RTTY. A few years ago we had ACOM 2000A, but this is different story...
The decision to purchase was a small weight and small package for portability, high power, remote control and automatic tuning.
We got more than we expected. It is almost the same size and the same weight as the SPE 2K FA, which is solid state amplifier. It is easy for transferring from one location to another... It easily can handle 1500 + watts RTTY in serious competitions without overheating. It is best to use CAT connection between radio and amplifier for a quick change from band to another band. This works very well and quickly.
A good feature is the remote control via Ethernet. The amplifier has for this purpose 8 pin RJ45 female connector which can be connected to nearest ethernet switch. Remote control software - HF_PA_Manager (free of charge) is very easy to install. Even the connection setting is simple. The amplifier has a static IP address 192.168.1.211, which can be changed. We use PCs with two monitors, so there is enough space on the desktop for the Remote Control Software.
The amplifier can be placed in another room, because there is no need to touch the LCD and buttons. All information concerning the operation of the amplifier are available through the HF_PA_Manager software.
The amplifier also has several additional features such as automatic antenna switching and automatic band pass filters switching.
It is very easy to use, just connect it and forget it. Just one thing you have to watch ... Forward power...and you must take care not to exceed the legal limits!
We are very pleased with this amplifier.
