Works well Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I needed a variable-voltage power supply since I charge a standby battery through a West Mountain Radio PG40S and needed a voltage higher that 12. The supply works well in this role. I have not noticed any switching noise. It powers a VHF and two HF radios, as well as a few accessories that draw a couple more amps. With everything running (on receive) the fan noise is no louder that a computer fan. When I transmit with one of the HF (100-watt) radios I find that the fan noise is still not objectionable.
I use my previous power supply (Jetstream JTPS32MAB) as a bench supply now.

Works well but way too loud Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
It seems to work well, without tripping at a 30A load for a minute. The displays are clear. But the fan is well too loud except at very little load, louder than a radio and almost as loud as Expert 1.3k.

Good Power supply! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Works well, just the fan is noisy even on standby. But it does the job. The power poles work well. Great display also.

Great Little PS Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Have had my DM-20T up and running for a few weeks now and I am very pleased. The power poles are installed correctly and the supply does what it is supposed to do. Powers my 2 meter rig along with the 160w amp with no problems. Yes the fan does run continuously when you have the fixed 13.8v output selected but I don't find it overly annoying. The supply sits on a shelf about 3 feet to my left and once the low band rig is fired up between that fan and any audio coming out the speaker the power supply fan is barely noticeable. Very pleased with it so far.

Powerpole Arrangement Fixed Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I just received my DM-30T from DX Engineering, with the correct orientation of the powerpole jacks. I believe dealers are listing the revised model as "DM-30TR" to distinguish the version with the fix (although the label on the front of the unit still just shows as DM-30T)

Nonstandard power poles Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Weird power pole arrangement is a pain, and I haven't been able to get the pin out yet to fix it.

The Power Poles have been corrected! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I just bought a DM-30T from HRO Atlanta during their 2019 Holiday sale. The power poles arrived in the correct orientation for standard ARES patch cables. No changes required!

Alternative Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I do not have this supply but am simply making a suggestion to all you hams that like to complain and whine. There are always alternatives to such problems as to the bogus power pole arrangement.
You can always make a power pole pigtail to convert from the stock bogus setup to the ARES arrangement. So there is NO real need to pull apart the supply and re-arrange the stock power pole setup.

Power Poles still WRONG Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The Power Poles are still mounted wrong. Stopped by the ALINCO booth at Dayton 2018 and showed them on their own floor model. They said, Yea they knew it was wrong, but were not going to change them any time soon.

I should have looked closely at the photo. The Power Poles are mounted across, not + and - as ARES standard is. And I don't think the cheap connectors are made by Anderson.

Yes, you can take you new supply apart and reorient the power poles correctly so they are ARES correct and the + and - sign on the supply is correct, but then you cannot push in the pin to hold them in the mount. When you reorient them correctly in ARES mode and set them so the pin can go in the mount and hold them, then the markings are wrong on one connector.

Never liked Alinco HTs.. now I remember why.

Be careful out there.

Nice supply with issues Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I like the supply but he fan is way too loud. I installed a motor speed control on the back of the supply and now can turn the fan off or control the speed.....no longer a problem. Here's a link to the speed control...https://www.ebay.com/itm/1Pc-x-DC-1-8V-3V-5V-6V-12V-2A-Low-Voltage-Motor-Speed-Controller-PWM-GZ/192567210884?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Next I'll change the powerpoles to the correct config. Nice supply with the mods. MTC had them on sale for $90....
