Great bang for the buck! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I started using eQSL few months ago. I did not pay it much attention at first, and when I first signed up I already had cards waiting on me which was neat.

Later on I started getting more and more cards, and I finally spent the time to figure out how to upload my log and I sent them a donation so I could upload my own graphic to make a card that I like. In fact I like the card I made for eQSL so much I am having some printed up.

It is hard beat on eQSL for what it is. For a buck each, they will even print up and mail you a card, that's a lot cheaper than getting a card from most DX operators these days. If I work someone on the digital modes the program I use lets me send them a eQSL instantly as I log them, which is nice.

As much as I have been using eQSL the past month or so I decided to donate a bit more to them. Websites such as this, and programs that hams make for the rest of us need to be supported. Without our support you won't have them. Websites cost money to maintain and lots of man hours to keep up.

Because "YOU" Enjoy it Time Owned: more than 12 months.
There are all kinds of opinions when it comes to the ART of QSL, My opinion is that: "I ENJOY EQSL" - I enjoy working for the EQSL awards, and honestly I dont care whether someone else recognizes the EQSL Award Or Not! I've found alot of Folks that feel the same way I do, and "WE SHARE" EQSL. I actually have a greater response from DX Operators on EQSL - than I do on LOTW (and I belong to it also) Great Site...and simply...I enjoy EQSL.

Excellent service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I take as much pride in my collection of EQSL cards as I ever did with paper cards. I know it is not for everyone but if you have never tried the service give it some consideration. The response is tremendous.

Very Nice Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I really have been unable to figure out all the negatives about this service. It works very well and I have a couple of hundred QSL's I wouldn't have otherwise.I am one of those oldtime hams that doesn't initiate QSL cards any more. I mean I got shoeboxes full of them, I don't need any more. I print out the nice personal QSL's I get from e-qsl on card stock.and put them on the wall. YOU CANNOT TELL they are e-qsl's. Lately I have been getting Computer Generated QSL cards via the buro. Whats the difference I say if I print them on my computer or the ham sending them prints the card on his computer?

Heres the difference I don't have to sit down and spend time replying to a e-qsl, its done for me. Gives me more time for DXin on the bands, and less bookwork.

Yeah I do Lotw also. In my opinion Lotw is a waste of time. YOU GET NO QSL's, what fun is that. Also according to my statistics LOTW confirmations are 50 percent less that what I get from e-qsl. And I don't care about no stinkin ARRL awards, they can keep them. I don't need the ARRL to confirm what my log already tells me.K9IUQ aint trying to impress anyone with a wall full of worthless certificates that no one except YOUR ego cares about.

LOTW is way better Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I am using eqsl for just one simple reason. To answer the incomming eqsl's. But as long as there is no way to claim credits for the qsos for the dxcc or iota awards - whats the purpose for this service?

It's Coming Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
eQSL's are no more open to fraud than the old mail and paper QSL method. I've read every complaint about how fraud prone the eQSL system is, and find that the same fraud can be applied to the old way as well.

So, why the problem with eQSLs? The answer is simple... tradition. No one likes change. It's blasphemous to even suggest sending and receiving QSL cards in any manner other than the way it's always been done. And, it will be that way until the old farts like myself get gone, and younger minds rule the game. But wait!... in time even they will become outdated only to eventually be replaced by yet other generations.

I recall an inventor's society that was established in England many years ago. In 1900, this inventor's society disbanded. Their reason? They claimed that since the future (1900) had arrived, there was "nothing left to invent". The services of the society were no longer needed.

What Do You Expect for Free? Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Send them $5 and you can design your own card. This is a great service and is fun and easy to use. Keep up the great work.

Stay Clear.... Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I tried eQSL a while back and quit after a couple weeks. I ultimately decided to go with real QSL cards:

eQSL would not let me upload my own picture without requesting $$. The free QSL pictures supplied look horrible.

After I decided to discontinue the service I still receive eQSL requests. Basically they do not let you cancel once you join.

Real QSL cards have to be mailed to you or send via the buro. Even cards via a QSL manager require some effort from the operator. I will be sticking to the real thing for now.

very, very nice! Time Owned: N.A.
I checked out e-QSL several years ago. It seemed not many Hams were using it then so I lost interest. Imagine my surprise when I checked it out today (3/2007) and found I had over 60 QSLs waiting for me, most of them DX! I sent a contribution, designed a great eQSL, cleaned up my log and loaded my recent contacts with very little trouble. I was able to figure it all out with minimum head scratching and now, just a few hours later, return eQSLs are already coming in & I can print them on card stock. No stamps, no IRCs, & no waiting.. Very, very nice! I'm a believer! / Woody / WD9F

Great Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is fast, easy, cheap and secure. If the contact is in my log and the other log, it has been worked and is a valid qso for me. Another op asked for a paper copy and I sent it. (He was caseing DXCC). No cards, credits, points or stamps to purchase. I have not spent a dime for this product. Maybe someday the cards will count for DXCC. The security is the same as my bank and credit cards. I tried LOTW and gave up. (What a pain). EQSL is great. Thanks for a great product.
