I prefer paper cards Time Owned: more than 12 months.
though eQSL is the next best thing. I am impressed with the response rate I get vs other services. And the one time I had a concern the fix was very quick, no problem.

Not Worth The Effort Time Owned: more than 12 months.

Greetings, All...

Same complaint as other guys here...Zero response to e-mails and can't get anything done. What's the value of my time wasted against an IRC, a real QSL card and a buck's worth of US postage? I don't need the headache. I'll stick with real QSLs.

too many problems Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was a member, became frustrated and suspended my membership. It just seemed like too much problems for somthing as simple as a qsl card. There needs to be somthing better.

No longer using it Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I used to like eQSL untill recently. It is impossible for me to log on as it takes up to 10 minutes to do so. After 45 minutes I still could not correct one log entry. For me it is a waste of time !

Unresponsive Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I liked eQSL. BUT I've been waiting for 3 months for help with a login problem. Several emails to them and dead silence. There seems to be no recourse. They've got a couple of years of cards -- not a great volume -- and I have no access to it. Good concept and decent product with absolutely no user support. A shame really.

Good way to QSL Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've been using eQSL since it started and I enjoy it as a casual way to QSL. It saves money and time. The QSL Cards and awards can be printed out and they look good. It has some quirks and the intgrity of the users is up to the individual. If someone requests a QSL and they aren't in your log, just hit the reject button. If someone cheats, they are only cheating themselves so why get so uptight? It's not like they are making some kind of profit off you or something. I use LoTW and it too has problems (long delays recently). LoTW can be very costly when applying for credits and awards. The ARRL is very slow to respond to any problems with the system or to answer any awards issues. Both systems are imperfect, but I prefer eQSL based on cost and ease of operation. "Your milage may differ."

nice to have this system Time Owned: more than 12 months.
ok, this eQSL system is quite good. I dont get too many false positives, as I upload my logs as soon as I can, I always detect if there is an error from the other side.. .because the confirmed QSLs can simply be stored, no green nor red icon in them.

The QSL I have not uploaded are immediately shown with the red/green icon.. and to me it is kind of an alarm:something is not ok.

Usually it boils down to somebody to which I have actually had a QSO reporting it for the wrong band or wrong date... I usually warn the other side to correct it and refuse the QSL report... 2 or 3 per month.. not a big deal.

It is QUITE rare to have a QSL from a ham I have not had a QSO with.. and I usually flatly reject it... 1 or 2 every month or two... and I often think it is somebody that "thinks" has worked me in a pileup... if I dont have him written down, sorry, it is rejected.

lotw, is nice, but harder to manage and easy to cheat as well, it is easy to agree on a fake contact and upload both parties the same info to cheat lotw... ok, it can happens in eQSL as well

The eQSL awards are not nice.. not indeed.. I subscribed as silver member to be able to apply for awards, but after some of them I simply disliked them and now Im a regular member.

the good part of eQSL is that you or your party can correct QSO mistakes (band, date, etc) and inLOTW you will never find that... because in lotw if something is incorrect in the other ham's log it wont shown up in your logs

Can't Register Time Owned: N.A.
I'm having the same problem as the last user. I would love to be able to use and rate the service but since they have my vanity call assigned to the old license holder (expired more than four years ago!), they rejected my registration. It seems to me that if they have such a "state of the art" system, it would be a simple matter of updating their database at least for US calls from the FCC files which are free and open access. So far no answer to my plea for help via email. If I ever get a chance to use this system, I'll be glad to reconsider my "poor" rating.

Poor Support Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Problem is eQsl never responds when you need help. I had a new vanity call issued and eQsl has it registered to the former owner. I've sent numerous requests to have it reauthorized to me but they never reply. Hard to support something when they drop the ball.

Good option Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Been using LoTW and eQSL for about a year and a half and really like both. Have a slight preference for eQSL due to more DX respondents and the option of paper card printouts, if desired. Authenticity isn't a problem for me. If QSO isn't in my log it can be rejected. Happened only once, so far!
