Excellent Book for those wondering about transmission lines Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
One of my favorite books written by Joel Hallas (W1ZR)

This is an easy read and can be finished cover to cover in a couple days max. Covers the various types of transmission lines as well as connectors and how to install them. Talks about what type of line to use and why.

Was just the right amount of information and was written in a manner that was easy to follow. The only thing that made me cringe (being a craftsman) was some of Joel's recommended methods of getting feedline into a house. They are probably on par with what Hams typically do and I admit I go a little overboard on most things. That said, I rarely have problems either.
