THE BEST !! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I met Ray W2RE from Radio Echo Communications at Dayton in May 2017, asking him to build me a Superstation like the one he had in Eastport, Maine. Ray helped me find the perfect property and will great planning I had my Dream station on the air by October !!! Over time Ray had improved the station , adding WARC, 160 an 8/8/8/8 Six Meter station as well as an 80 Meter 4 square . My station was built to the highest standards of quality and engineering .. When a problem comes up from owning a station hundreds of miles away Ray and Bobby work fast to take care of it .The station is maintained to the highest standards. If you want Tower work done right or a turn key station installation for a fair price look no further than Ray and Bobby from Radio Echo Communications .

Quality work by a dedicated team Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I don't think you would find a better service than Ray and Bobby. They installed a 160M vertical tower for me during the summer of 2020 when another installer could not make it. This was a 120 foot 25G with 4 levels of guys over an insulated base. Nothing is impossible for Ray (it seems) and the job is done right.

My "go to" for any tower work without a second thought. Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have been using W2RE services for many years. I contacted him again when my VHF/UHF system needed work. My antennaes were 20 years old. Upgrade to new loop fed yagis and new hardline. As usual the team from RE did a top end job. Not only verification of my assembly of the antennas but actually tuning them per "real life", not just the assembly paperwork. As far as the tower work goes - SUPER and attentive and CAREFUL! Warning - if you want a "quickie git er done job", call someone else! I have a background in broadcast engineering and height safety. Used to do my own tower work until my cardiologist said "no more climbing". I have COMPLETE confidence that RE work when aloft is performed in a safe manner and that the actual radio end of the work is performed properly. Regarding their prices? As I said, I have broadcast background and know what professional tower work costs. RE Communication prices are VERY reasonable.

Excellent work and professionalism. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've been using Ray (W2RE) and now including his son Bobby for all of my antenna work over the years. One particular job they performed for me was an antenna and tower take down right next to my house. They had all the equipment necessary to perform the task safely and was finished in one day. They also have installed a tower and antennas for me. I would recommend them no matter the challenge.

experience and integrity Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Ray W2RE has serviced my US Tower HDX-572MDPL for over a decade except for the few years that he left the tower business. Now he works with his son Bobby. Ray and Bobby do annual maintenance including spraying the steel cables, galvanizing rust spots, and lubricating the gears. Last year they replaced the coax cable. Two years ago, Ray and John W2GD replaced the steel cables which is a really difficult job. Ray is great. He has experience and integrity. You should hire Ray and you will be happy.

Fantastic Job !!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After a microburst damaged everything on the tower, I called Ray (W2RE) to get an estimate of the work I needed to fully complete the project. Ray communicated extremely well. We mutually scheduled the work allowing two days to complete everything. With Ray's support from son Bobby (KC2UPN), they both treated my tower as if it was theirs. Bobby inspected each antenna and Ray checked each antenna for good SWR and antenna resonance before each went up in the air. The project was not rushed and was carefully well thought through keeping safety in mind at all times. You will not be sorry choosing Ray and Bobby. They are true professionals that will complete your tower project with high standards. I would call them again...

Wowzer. These guys are great. Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Ray (W2RE) helped with an antenna and tower installation that I did about 10 years ago when he was part of Hudson Valley Towers. They provided a turn-key installation from antenna and tower selection to complete installation. Ray has always been available to answer questions that might come up. The installation has worked perfectly since then until my SteppIR needed a repair. I was delighted to hear that Ray was back in the antenna business as Radio Echo Communications along with his son Bobby (KCX2UPN). My shack and antenna farm operates as a remote base most of the year. I told Ray that I wanted to upgrade my antennas and switch to conventional antennas with no moving parts. He recommended 3 antennas by SP3GXP which he has installed at multiple Super Stations. They are:
GXP 11-5
GXP 30/40
GXP 5EL 6M
The installation went smoothly and took 2 1/2 days including pulling down the SteppIR, final assembly of the new antennas, putting antennas on the tower, and testing. This also included providing full antenna switching and improving the remote management systems. I also elected to upgrade my linear to a full power 100% uptime amplifier.

The performance of this new system is simply unbelievable. I have been gradually improving my station and antennas for over 60 years. I have finally reached the pinnacle of the mountain. The response to CQ's is usually almost immediate. I have a new problem when working contests. My run rate is off a little because there are so many stations calling at the same time that it takes some time to sort them out.

Ray and Bobby are great people to work with. I know that should there be a problem when my station is unattended, I can call on them for help. Thanks, guys.

Excellent Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Ray is a neighbor in our little town Union Vale. I'm probably the only ham near enough to ride a bike to. He has done spectacular work on my antennas and tower, reliable, prompt and while he calls my farm an estate it is 150 acres of solitude and perfect for ham radio, also FB for chickens and cows.
My station is not set up for remote but that may be the next step.I can't recommend Ray highly enough, safe careful and talented.

Hudson Valley Towers was a highly respected organization that provided expert antenna and tower work. Their reviews, more than 50, are still on eHam. Those of us who depended on them to keep our installations working were saddened when they ceased operation a few years ago. Well, the good news is that HVT principal Ray Higgins, W2RE, is back doing tower and antenna work, along with his son, and sometimes the XYL comes to help too., Ray's his skills are as good as ever. He is now Radio Echo Communications.

Ray recently upgraded my antenna system, installing antennas by SP7GXP, which Ray highly recommends. The antennas installed were an 11 element 5 band 20-17-15-12-10 meter band antenna, and a dual monoband 30/40 meter antenna, two elements on each band. I ordered the antennas through Ray, and they were shipped to him. The antennas were partially assembled at his site, and then the sub-assemblies brought to my site for final assembly. We then rented a man lift, and the antennas were installed on my existing 70 foot Tri-Ex sky needle tower. First, my old antenna had to be removed.

The final assembly of the antennas took a day. The removal of the old antenna, and placement of the new antennas, took another day. Everything worked from the outset. However, after a couple of weeks of windy weather, I noticed that the two antennas were no longer in alignment, one having slipped on the mast. Ray came back and pinned that antenna to the mast. He charged me nothing for the return visit.

If you want your antenna work done by someone with experience, integrity, care, and with safety,, Radio Echo Communications should be on your list of vendors. They do travel the country if the job warrants it.

Experienced professionals that I trust Time Owned: more than 12 months.
. For many years I depended on Hudson Valley Towers for installation, repair and maintenance of my antenna farm and the tower. A few weeks ago I discovered to my relief that Ray, W2RE and his son Robert, KC2UPN were back in the business as Radio Echo Communications! I had maintenance issues this time around, problems with the rotator, the motorized tower needed work and repair of storm damaged 40m inverted-vee. They got me back on the air on 40 and 30m, repaired the rotator and the tower by 3pm. They are friendly, great problem solvers and they get the job done.
