Best bang for the buck Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have had no problems with it, works like it should and you get a lot for the money. Only thing I can't stand is the boot-up beep (which I can't seem to shut off). If it was not for that, I would have given it 5 stars.

Fine Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Iv owned it for a year and found no problems. Does a lot for for the money. Including SW RX!
Update: 2 years later, making it a 3 year old radio. Its been ON since I bought it. I had to replace the cat cable. Otherwise its fine. A capable radio that can act as a dual band repeater.

Great for rural areas Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
The sensitivity is good for low RF background areas. In a dense urban area where there's a lot of RF, the front end gets over-loaded and signals seem to work only when receiving a strong signal. Terrible rejection of strong RF fields. It will receive literally any frequency including HF, but not on sideband. Other than that I love all the features. The FM broadcast function is lame because in order for the audio level to be adequate to your car stereo, you have to turn the volume up to near distortion in the head unit, and there's no way to mute the head unit when FM transmit is on. I love the thought that went into the logic of how you connect the head unit though. If you don't care about audio going to the head unit, you can use your 6-wire Yaesu remote cable and it works.

Good product Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Very good mobile radio with impressive sensibility, high power and very good audio quality ( 3 speakers) and too one very good microphone. After a long use the heatsink still cold. The software is without bug.

The programmation is easy with a free software.

I would not hesitate to recommend this radio to anyone.

Bad Reception Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Sincerely I was quite excited with this mobile radio Zastone D9000 I had seen several videos on Youtube of its most important features but it turned out to be disappointing.

The Radio Has Problems with the digital squelch in VHF for stations with distant stations and low intensity (RX) the squelch I must open it completely to be able to receive stations with low signal. This is quite bad because the noise of the (QRM) bothers everyone in the car.

The Signal Meter indicator ratio does not correspond to the true reception intensity (common faults Cheap or Chinese Radio).

The good

Good Power (TX) in my Lab:

(LOW)> 6W
(MED)> 30W
(HIGH)> 60w

Possibility to use it as Simplex Repeater (example: VHF to VHF) or Repeater crossbans.

The truth I am very sorry to see my Icom 2820H sold that turned out to be a High Range Radio Very robust in comparison to this bad copy of China.

In conclusion: I do not recommend Unless they are in a city where they receive all the strong stations in (point to point) I only recommend for the use of Repeaters.

Review Update Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Now that I've been using the radio a while here is an update.

While the manual is better than most Chinese manuals, it still leaves some to be desired with many of the descriptions being vague or incomplete. But for the most part still pretty well done with correct grammar.

I've figured out how to change the scan feature. It's not real intuitive.

Being able to monitor two frequencies at once is slick. You can listen to the output of a repeater on one side and it's input on the other. Still does not replace a REV button.

Receive audio quality is excellent with no need for an external speaker and I've been getting great reports on my transmit audio.

If you change the power setting on a memory channel, then change channels, when you come back it does NOT remember that change. To make the change permanent, you have to change in in programing.

At 1/2 the price of the Kenwood I was looking at, I would not hesitate to recommend this radio to anyone.
