Fits my needs perfect Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I needed an amp for my mobile because the IC-7100 only puts out about 75watts peak despite what the manual says. My Tarheel Antenna is rated at 250watts peak, so this amplifier fit the bill perfect. I have it under the back seat and connected relays to a remote switch so I can turn it on and off. So far it has worked flawlessly.

Little Poney Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Working for 6 years automatically, fast bandwidth switching, good low spurious filtering, maximum swr 2.5, good protections.

Works Flawlessly Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
In spite of what has been said about amps by RM Italy, this one seems to be a winner. Works perfectly paired to my Elecraft KX2 and the LDG AT-200 Pro II. As has been stated it needs about 35 or more amps to run it and it is sensitive to high SWR so I tune with the power from my KX2 before turning the amp on. Compared to other options, this gives more watts per dollar than anything I could find. This make a proper base station for my mainly portable rig.

Great product Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Totally happy with this amp. Works exactly as advertised. I have it paired with my ELAD FDM-DUO qrp transceiver. With the ELAD set to max power, the amp will put out about 225W on 40 and 20m, about 200W on 17m and somewhere between 150 and 175W on 15, 12 and 10m. Automatic band switching works perfectly with the ELAD radio.

Good amp, I'm happy. Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This IS FCC type accepted.
I purchased this to provide a little muscle for my FDM-Duo sdr transceiver. It will require a beefy 12 volt power supply, at full keydown it will draw about 30 amps. 4 watts in will give 250 watts output. I would advise using a muffin fan if you dont buy the model that comes equipped with them. The auto band switching is seamless. Works great.
The only con I have is : Your antenna SWR should be well 1.5:1 or better. The high SWR protection on this is not too forgiving. I use it with an MFJ-998 auto-tuner and when changing bands I have to "pre-key" the tuner with another rig to make sure my swr is within range or I will have to reboot the amp. Thats more of an issue with the tuner... It will not tune with less than 10 watts input.
