Cheap but works well Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Purchased from BangGood and has served me well up to now, i power it from an external battery pack which lasts for a couple of days and has never let me down, a lot cheaper than the competition and built well.

Nice unit for the price Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought one of these after my MFJ analyzer died. Came with no documentation but easy enough to figure out how to use it. I will check out the web site to see if doc can be found there. Wish it had an internal battery pack, but otherwise I'm glad I have it.

The MR300 is Good ! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Note in September 13 2020.

my MR300 working VERY GOOD, so with the lxqqfy software under Windows XP simulate on MacOs through PARALLEL.
The documentation is downloadable in the lxqqfy WEB site so the software.
For the calibration is necessary to have minimum a good instrumentation 50 hom load and an Open/Short connector, otherwise the calibration is possible not correct.
For the functionality in Bluetooth i don't no, because i not have the option.

The MR300 is not a laboratory instrument, but is VERY GOOD for HAM use.
------------------------- Old Note -----------------------
I have bought the MR300 recently, and I have tried it both with known antennas and with known filters ..
It works very well for the price I paid !!! (less than half of MFJ) !!!
An important note !!! DO NOT TRUST CHINESE IMITATIONS !!! the basic cip is different and do not work well over 25 MHz .. the original MR300 mounts an AD9851 born to work up to 70 MHz .. the Chinese versions use an AD9850 that works up to 40 MHz maximum !!

Good measures at all! 73 IW4AJR Loris

$75 brick with pretty blue lcd screen Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Could not calibrate correctly even when using carbon comp resistors.

Could not use software on the website to perform a sweep. The software would start a scan and the unit would lock up with the lcd displaying "scanr."

Same results with android software and bluetooth.

Absolutely no technical support whatsoever. No one responds to emails and the message board on the lxqqy.com website is really old.

RIP OFF ! No more money to crappy chinese companies !

junk Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought it from Chinese online retailer BangGood.com. It is a piece of junk. It didn’t work from the start. I thought I did something wrong because there’s no manual. Just one piece of paper shows the driver name (FTDI). Not even had a link. It shows SWR 1.0 no matter what band or frequencies. Also, inductance and capacitance all 0. Only changes the impedance. I tried 3 antenna which are tuned 40 Meter, 10 Meter and dipole. I even calibrate it after watching YouTube but doesn’t work. I installed different version of drivers to attempt to connect to a PC but not success. I demanded full refund but they insisted fix it in local store and wanted estimate, so I asked $50 and they accepted and refund $50 (I paid $72 when I purchase it). So, I paid $22 and keep this junk. Not sure if I can fix it or not but I wanted to try it.

Stopped working Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Connected to my frequency counter before first use. Reading on counter matched display on the MR300.

Connected the analyzer to my 40 meter TAK-TENNA to tune to the center of the 40 meter band. The analyzer worked well to locate resonance, then started to indicate an open in the antenna and feed line with an swr greater than 10. This was intermittent and finally continuous.
I then reconnected to the frequency counter. There was NO output from the analyzer.

The MR300 would be a handy tool if it worked for more than he short time that I used it.

Valuable product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Hi all,
I bought this product to tune my new PST1524 antenna (see my review).
This product is very easy to use, has a good precision, it is interfaceable with a PC (via USB), and it can be calibrated...
Very good value for money.
And Jason-BG2XNN is very responsive and ready to help.
I highly recommend it.
For any question, send me an email !
All my best 73,

As good as... Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have owned two MFJ analyzers, 259 & 259B. Both are very drifty and unreliable, and both have failed.
I bought an MR300 to replace the MFJ analyzers.
I purchased a “refurbished” unit at $67 shipped from China.
It is basically a DDS operated by software. It uses EA4FRB developed software.
Very little info can be found on it. I suspect there are US patents that prevent these from being widely sold in the US.
I tested mine, and it indicated the same readings as the MFJs. It is far more stable than the MFJ.
The MR300 has wider range of impedance measuring, 5-2000 ohms. My unit has no internal battery provisions, and uses 12vdc external input.
There are no manuals that I can find. Only a cryptic sheet of paper came with the unit, making a vague reference to a file in the USB connection.
This unit works well on a small Lipo battery pack I connected to it. Due to the low current draw, it would run for many days on this one battery.
Hand held with a small battery, makes it easy to take up a tower for analysis at the feed point. Unlike bulky models.
It’s a very handy tool for HF antenna work, or tuning a tuner.
