Well done Prosistel Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The antenna construction does take some time about 7 hours for me on all of the joints we used Innovantennas conductaseal element jointing paste also all the stainless cap screws and nuts we used a very small amount if aluslip just so the threads wouldn’t bind you don’t need to go crazy when tightening the cap heads they are only 4/5 mm so that is about 1.5 newton meters of torque
The SWR is very good
10 meters 1.2
15 meters 1.3
20 meters 1.1
40 meters 1.8
We have the antenna at 15 meters height on the mast works DX and inter G very well much better than the EFHW for 80 Meters by 2-3 s points most of the time on DX it makes all the difference from nothing heard to 5-5 on receive.
The antenna has survived some very strong winds and we have had no issues with the traps
I’m a mechanical engineer and the antenna construction is very good well done Prosistel
Would I have another Prosistel antenna yes no doubt about it.

It is big, very big !!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This wee beasty took some building and some of the special bolts were too short for the mast clamp. Fortunately, I bought it from Lee and Simon from Lamco and even though it was a "shop return", they rushed out a complete pack of bolts with a comment "take what you need and return the rest". That is what I call fantastic service.

I have built it "mid banded" and I have yet to slap an MFJ259 on it and fine tune it. Suffice to say even mid banded it tunes up on all 4 bands using the internal atu on my Yaesu FT2000 (both at the cw and ssb end).

Performance wise it is perhaps a little down on the Cobweb, especially on 10m. However, 40m is 3 S points stronger than my Inverted L which is very significant.

I do have to lower it again, tune it, self amalg the joins (taking care to leave the drain holes), then lift it back up in the air again atop a scaffolding pole. While this is possible to do by yourself, care is needed as it is huge (21ft each leg) and very top heavy so it needs a day without wind and attempt made only after 4 shredded wheat ;)

I did deliberate between this, the Comet H422 and the Create 730V1. The latter I could not find a dealer for anywhere which does not bode well if spare parts are every required should I even find one. The Comet is definitely smaller than this and I would argue less substantial (although probably easier to manually lift up on the scaffold pole).

My only reservations on this is how it might hold out on a very windy day. My Cobweb didn't do too well and the fibreglass boom was becoming "soft" with the whole assembly twisting on itself.

The proof will be in the pudding so they say and I might have a "play" in CQWW CW at the end of the month and see how it does.

All in all, very pleased indeed with my purchase and will now have to see how it survives the 30mph winds that are fairly common around here.

Outstanding service and support from Lamco - the UK dealership.

{edit: findings using an MFJ-259 antenna analyser earlier today .....}

I had built the antenna "mid banded" bolting the elements together central prior to testing resonance. It was only today I managed to borrow an analyser from a good friend to check the exact resonance. The antenna feed point is at almost 6m in height and these are the resonant frequencies. They really do hold true for mid-band (in the UK band plan).

10m - 28.317MHz 1:1
15m - 21.222MHz 1.4:1
20m - 14.163MHz 1.2:1
40m - 7.1000MHz 1:1

Needless to say I will not be taking it down and adjusting further. The internal atu of my Yaesu FT2000 has no problem tuning both cw and ssb portions even on 40m. Well happy !!!!

{edit: October 2022}
Still not happy with the performance on 10m and as I do a little contesting, 10m can be a good "bonus" band. This is also evident using FT8 which of course should be a breeze. Wind has a big affect on this antenna but it has stood up to more than moderate winds (ie around 50mph). Running 80watts in a few contests I have managed more than reasonable placings (cw/ssb) and in fact topped the UK in a few 15m categories. 40m continues to shine and 20m is pretty good also.
However, I am tempted to return to a bigger Cobweb (40/30m) which will also include the WARC bands and more importantly, a reasonable 10m capability.

Bottom line, it is a good antenna and my own experience has been an "almost but not quite" !

First impressions Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Very well built antenna and very easy to build up shame it dose not come with a balun from the factory you have to get this as a extra it’s up to you if you make your own by a prositel or One from another Manufacture
I have mine mounted in free space away from my house 5mt up
It’s working very well I worked a good few stateside on 40m some in Asia and Middle Eastern on 20m 15m nothing as of yet as the band is very quiet 10m is very good with the sporadic E is working well
We will see How it holds up for the season !

Great antenna, high efficiency Time Owned: more than 12 months.

I am an happy owner of this antenna by ProSisTel since 2016. It's installed on 50mm mast, at about 2 meters height from the base of palace, but at 4 meters height from my owned floor.
I'm not using any rotor. I'm using a balun ProSisTel 1,5KY + 20 meters of RG213/U coax.
Antenna is really well done, great quality of the components and high resistance from bad weather condition and marittime enviroment like mine where I live.

I love in reception, think better than my previous vertical antenna (a very good Hustler 4BTV, but bad for so many radials requested on the ground...). In transmission it works really nice and not so rare to be able to win a pile up with my only 100W (max power of my Yaesu FT450D) and a bit of patient :-D

It should be nice to raise it more and more, 3 meters or better 4 at least and it should be nice also to add a dedicated rotor, to favourite signal discrimination.
If you wanna have a great 4 bands antenna (10-15-20-40m), low SWR, nice efficiency, mechanics quality, easy to install and setup, and a fantastic communication with the producer where you can find really kind and available staff ready to answer to your technical questions and provide nice advises for a best using, it's your antenna!

Excellent antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Hello all,
I live in an HOA controlled area. I am using only digital modes with QRP powers (less than 20 W). I was looking for an antenna with the following specifications :
- omnidirectional,
- rather low emission angle,
- smooth radiation pattern, without any null,
- resonant and multiband (at least 10, 15, 20, 40 m),
- rather stealth.
A vertical could fullfill these requirements. BUT, it needs radials and prices are quite high.
The other solution is ... the V dipole from ProSisTel named PST-1524TV !
I bought this antenna directly from Prosistel.
The overall quality is excellent. It is located on top of a 6 m mast. Tuning it was easy thanks to my new MR300 (see my review).
For a few weeks, I made many tests in WSPR and JT9. Compared to my previous G5RV, this antenna is much more efficient (as it is resonant) and sensitive.
During the set up, I had to contact Prosistel and I got answers very quickly to my requests.
I recommend this company and this antenna without any hesitation.
For any question, drop me an email (see QRZ.com).

Thierry - F5LHF.
