Well made battery storage Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was looking for a good way to carry my battery for portable operations with my KX3. In my research I came across AMP-3 and their new battery bags. Since I had already purchased my battery I was looking for something that would specificly fit it well. I sent off an email to AMP-3 regarding the internal dimensions of the bag and very quickly got a response with what I was looking for (good customer service!).

The bag shipped quickly and arrived in a USPS large envelope.

The quality of the bag is really good. Everything seems really well made and my battery does indeed fit decently. I added some additional padding around the batter as it is slightly smaller than the one the bag is designed for.

The mesh pocket on the front is really nice. I started with putting the charger for the battery in it. It fit fine, but I've since decided against that. My power cable for the battery to the KX3 goes there now. When I get a solar panel I'll put the connectors in the mesh pocket as well. Having the separate mesh pocket is really nice.

My only complaint is that there is the hook portion of velcro on the outside of the bag on the bottom and the back. I'm guessing this likely because you can make it part of a larger system or that it can be attached into a larger bag, but it is not mentioned in the video on the website, nor is it in the description of the product. I found this velcro to be very rough when handling the bag and it was rough on some surfaces (granted the ground and picnic tables aren't going to care). I solved this by just using some strips of loop portion of velcro I happened to have on hand to cover them up.

It's a little pricey I feel for what it is, but I can't complain about the quality. Looking forward to a long life of the bag in the field.
