OK but not robust. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I had my Metropower MetroVNA 250 for two years. Only used it in the shack and all was fine until I accidentally dropped it a short distance onto the shack carpet. One unusable VNA. Destined fror the bin I'm afraid.

I am extremely disappointed in the device. It is not easy to use - the touch screen is not consistently responsive and trying to enter a specific frequency is a joke. When you view the graph screen the lower and upper limits of the sweep, the actual frequency of best SWR and SWR reading itself are unreadable as they are in a tiny blue font on a black background. I use a magnifying glass! Even worse when you're outside in bright sunlight.
The worst thing for me is the inability to save your settings. You have a very clever idea where you can set up 6 separate bands which can display simultaneously. The default setting has two bands set to 20m. You can spend some time setting up each band to 160, 80, 40, 20, etc. Then when you switch it off it forgets everything - and setting it up is not an easy thing to do when the screen doesn't respond. I saw a friend's NanoVNA and how little it cost and regret buying this thing now. Great idea but overpriced and poorly built.

Several things took the shine off this product. The touch screen did not always register a touch. When it did, it was inconsistent in that a light touch would register one moment and the next time a much longer and heavier "press" was necxessary.

To flash the firmware, one has to slide a switch inside the unit. Assess is via some small holes in the back and it is VERY difficult to fell, let alone see, what one is doing. In spite of the best endeavours of the inventor, I was not able to flash my unit. When he got to the stage of asking me to open the unit and short some contacts I returned it for a refund.

Finally, the screen was a tad off-centre and is as annoying as a wonky picture on the wall.

I have no doubt about the technical prowess of this product, but it needs a lot more work to make it feel like a quality product.
