Excellent antennas Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I own two of the MyAntennas, the EFHW-8010-2K and the EFHW-16040-2K. I have one running East/West and the other North/South. Both these antennas perform very well, and it's really nice to be able to switch between these two antennas on the low bands to take advantage of their N/S or E/W directivity.

Great antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Got my EFLW-1K which is the 44ft. one June 2016 and I STILL have this antenna up in an inverted ā€œVā€ and I can say nothing bad about it still preforms as when I got it new, only thing that changed is radio and I use this with a Icom 7600 and I run it with my Ameritron 811H with no RF (but it is grounded), I use a Ameritron tuner with it and tunes great. If anybody ever asked me which wire I should get I will point them to MyAntennas.com

works great Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have the 44' version, deployed close to vertical. Fed 6' above ground, with 2 pairs of radials, for 40 and 20. It's versatile, and can tune 80 thru 10 with my MFJ993B auto tuner. On 80 it's 7-8 Db below the dipole, but hey, it's less than a quarter wave long. 40 and 20 it more than holds its own, and on 30M equals my HF6V vertical.
Can also be used on any WARC band with good results, and is my primary on 15. Try to get it up in the air, or mostly vertical. Worth the price.

Good and can take 1.5Kw Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I bought this off Ebay from the manufacturer.
I had it for a year and decided to erect it.
I have a few other antennas, a home brew 80 meter dipole that is made of electric horse rope, the best I have used I Get 10 Db gain. I also own a G5RV made by True Talk. Good antenna also but it needs more space. works good.
And a vertical Hustler 6bTV. It works so so. I would say It's adequate.
Anyhow, I finally got around to putting this end fed up. Using my launcher I shot it up in a tree about 50 Ft or so, and the other 50 Ft comes back down and the additional 17 Ft is going to the box. So, it's an inverted V configuration. It is mounted to my wood deck. I heard and read that it may not handle the 1.5 KW I intended to run into it. GUESS WHAT? It takes it with no problems. I use the LP-100A. No blips.
I used this antenna this evening for 2 hours in QSO using 1.5KW and took a quick pause to go outside and check it out. I felt the box and it was not even warm. So I feel if you have a small lot and have no place to go but up then this antenna rocks for what it is.
I tested it for 3 days and here is what I come up with on a scale of 1 to 10
1 being bad, aka a dummy load, and 10 being the best I have had, I rate it a 7.5. Seven being average and 7.5 being above your average Hoa restricted or compromised antenna. So yes, It works good. Not great, not bad. It's good. Plus if you have an amp, it will take your legal limit with no problem. Now I did not go over legal limit as it's only recommended for 1.5 and that's what I hit her with. I walked her up slowly. Some say that if she gets warm in the winter months that moisture could build up and freeze being that it is a sealed unit with no drain hole. It's sealed with a gasket. I have not had it up in the winter yet so I can't comment on that but I will this winter. So in my opinion, If you need an antenna that works GOOD, and you don't need to be the biggest on the band you will love this antenna. Some will tell you it's a compromised antenna. Yes it is but, the fact is, some of us just don't have the room if any to deploy a larger more resonant antenna. So if you can go up and you have tried the verticals and put up with all the noise they get, and the ground radials, try this. I am sure for the small amount of money, you will be on the air and enjoying your hobby. Again, It works good. Thanks for reading my review.

adequate Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I've been running this end fed antenna for a little over 3 months alongside a G5RV. This antenna is quieter than the G5RV but does not have the transmission power the G5RV hung as an inverted "V" has. The end fed longwire is hung horizontal at 30 feet above ground. It's grounded to an 8 foot copper ground rod using 20 feet of #12 stranded wire and 65 feet of RG8 fed to a tuner. The best SWR is on 20 meters and that is 3:1. Much worse on all other bands. I must use an MFJ-929 tuner. My FT-2000 will not tune it. Not sure I can recommend this antenna, and don't think I would buy it again. I would definitely buy another G5RV from True-Talk Antennas, found on eBay. I'm on my second one due to storm damage and will likely always be using one.

One of the very best! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I have several of these in various lengths and they all perform exceptionally well. I have opened all of them up for examination, and they're well made...you can see the time and care put into each one, and I'm very pleased with the craftsmanship.

I chose these because I live in an area which has antenna restrictions/covenants. I use the 117 ft. version at home, which is elevated about 20-25 ft. in the air and suspended over a metal roof and other metal objects. Traditionally, end-fed antennas do well with a counterpoise of some kind, and I recommend you bury or lay a wire along the ground or go above a metal roof with at least 10 ft. of separation. I am hearing a lot of what other folks aren't and working plenty of DX with 100 watts or less! Mounting is simple; I used a one inch mast with two bronze water pipe grounding clamps affixed to it...fast, simple and safe. Don't forget to attach your ground wire.

I also have a few smaller versions, including the 44 ft. and 73 ft. models...both perform just as well. I highly recommend the MyAntennas CMC-154-3K common-mode choke (reviewed elsewhere on eHam) to pair with this antenna for optimum performance. These are inexpensive, well made, easy to mount (use two grounding clamps), and hassle free. Give them a try, you won't be sorry!

Great antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased my EFLW-1.5K, 73 foot version and all that I can say is that that this antenna works great. I live in Delaware and I am getting very strong signal reports on 40 and 20 meters.

At first, I was kind of hesitant to buy this antenna because I thought that the power was going to get "burned up" in the 9:1 unun. That is definitely not the case. This antenna performs!

I have grounded the antenna to a standard 8' ground rod. There is about 30' of wire going from the matching network to the ground rod. I will be adding more grounding soon.

I am running an FTDX-1200, AL-80B and a Palstar AT2K. I am also using the CMC-130S-3K Common mode filter where the coax enters the shack. No RF on the equipment, no RF in the audio and beautiful signal reports.

This antenna is easy to install and you can use a coax feed that is close to your shack. I am using RG-8X.

Give it a try and I am sure that you will be very happy with the results!
