Modern online version of Monitoring Times and PopComm Time Owned: more than 12 months.
If you liked Monitoring Times and Popular Communications, The Spectrum Monitor is the modern, PDF version, including many of the same writers. The mag covers satellite, shortwave, scanning and radio history. Highly recommended, especially for the price of $25 per year. And prior years are offered at half price. And the PDF's are yours, there are no controls, versus CQ on Zinio.

Very good reading! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I'm surprised that this online magazine hasn't been reviewed here already because it has been in existence for a few years now.

This is simply one of the best radio publications which I've seen in years! Lots of great material covering everything from Amateur Radio to WiFi and many, many talented contributors.

The Spectrum Monitor is available - only - in PDF format but no worries at all for me and in fact I prefer it that way because it is readable on all of my devices from desktop to phone so I can read it anywhere. Missed a good article in a back issue? No problem - go to their website and buy any individual back issue for $3.00 with instant download.

This is like Monitoring Times magazine on steroids!

Hats off to the SM team for bringing us a great and fun information resource!
