Let's in noise			Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The installed panel let's a lot of outside noise in and in winter the cold metal of the connectors condenses water. I put my VNA on each antenna lead disconnected from the panel then did the same measurements at the radio connector with the panel in-place. I could observe only minor changes so the panel does not appear to influence the signal greatly.

Serviceable			Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This panel is bare wood, and not painted white like earlier MFJ feedthrough panels. It has large knots in the wood, and isn't very attractive. The weather stripping that came with the panel is either old or very cheap, since I couldn't get the paper backing off, except in pieces a few inches long. The torn end was very thin, and it was hard to get the backing separated, and then it tore right away. I went to the hardware store and bought 3/4" weather stripping, which was easy to apply, just like all the similar weather stripping I have used in the past. This panel, with holes instead of connectors, may save a little loss at VHF/UHF frequencies, since 3 additional cable/panel connectors are not in the signal path.
