wonderful microphone for ham Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Recently I was introduced to the RODE Microphone range, always used a headset boom mic,
ARLAN COMMS RS-60CF ETC,
long story short, neck issues forced me to try a boom mic system,
I purchased a RODE PROCASTER, dynamic mic, I was super impressed with the build quality, plus the reports were excellent,
looking thru the RODE range, I noticed the M3, the M3 is a wonderful 13mm condenser mic, multi powered, I like the option to NOT use Phantom power, the M3 allows me to power with a 9v internal battery, this M3 budget mic, allows a heap of different settings,
a 10db & 20db attenuator, plus the ability to cut 80hz from the bottom end, this is a very very handy microphone, tx audio reports, are EXCELLENT, with very little adjusting using a K3S or 7610,
it is very very well made, and NOT a small mic looking at the pictures, it is 35mm dia, and weights 380gm,the build quality will catch your attention, no need for mixers, or EXT EQ etc etc,
very impressive,
