I bought this antenna a few years ago for monitoring LF activity on 2200m, 1750m, and what is now the 630m band. Most recently I've been using it as my RX antenna for WPSR and JT9 activity.

I've got the antenna mounted on a six foot grounded metal pole that is attached to the eaves of my 2 story house (up about 30 feet).

As far as performance goes, I am pleased, You can check-out my reported spots on wsprnet.org (filter for ab1aw).

My only gripe is that the power supply that came with the antenna does not do a good job with isolation and noise suppression (e.g. QRM from LED light bulbs, switching power supplies, etc.). I replaced it with the power supply described in the article for the AMRAD LF active antenna which give much better performance (less QRM from noise sources and better grounding) - see (http://www.arrl.org/files/file/Technology/tis/info/pdf/0109031.pdf).
